Use the back button and then click on the thread to reload it again (Straight reload button in the browser won't do it). it just means yo have had the page up too long and "lost" he token that allows submital of pics/posts...

These are the Kennedy tool cabs that were purchased along with a South Bend Lathe. A 520 with a 270, both full of tools for the lathe and the little mill that is a custom addition by the previous owner. $500 for all and was purchased several years ago.

Just re-organized my tools at work. Down sized from a too heavy when full CLC bag to this little Craftsman tote I had hanging around. Much easier to carry.

Nice...what kind of work do you do? I notice the **** set and some other voice/data gear!

IT at a college with a wide range of systems and duties, including all the voice/analog stuff. I relish when I get to buy a new tool, and practically jump out of my chair when there is a project to use them on..

Not much compared to most of the setups here, but it treats me well. I'm just a home mechanic, keep a track car running and a little maintenance on the daily drivers. Everything bought at Sears Canada during various sales over the years, my wife started me off with the top box and later the chest, I finished it out with the intermediate box and the side half lockers. I like that everything is made in Canada by SPG International, all ball bearing slides of course.

Imagine44, I know what you mean! I do IT for a manufacturing company, it's a nice change when I actually get to terminate cables or put equipment in the server racks :D

Absolutely. Just recently custom cabled a new classroom with 40 stations. Actually easier than off the shelf cables with the long runs. Here's to the tools of IT.. and the guys that use them

Do you always carry three tape measures? :p

Maybe one's metric, one's standard, and the third is rack units? :willy_nil

Somewhere I have one in audio wavelengths... meant for sound booth design.

One 12 footer used the most. One Metric only Beta because it was almost free, some things are easier to measure in metric and people look at you funny when you've got a metric only tape measure! One 25 foot beater/loaner tape measure. And.... One 30 foot tape hidden under all the tools...

Chrean, Love your set up. Very very nice. I to like the smaller tool boxes and I currently have 2 full stacks of the Kennedys boxes and my 3rd is there just waiting for tools to be added.

Kennedy boxes are great, they're built like little tanks!

Paddles to fight off the college co-eds! :pimpflash

End of dream.....:p

Seriously though.. paint sticks are free and you never know when you'll need a couple of small sticks. I always get a couple when i'm at home depot, and they always seem to get used by me or someone else.

Chains on your box?

You live in a pretty rough area?

I'm more worried about the tools vs the box myself. I don't like to keep my boxes locked since I'm in them so much.

Boxes are always locked up and chained up when I'm not there. I don't live in a rough area anymore but old habits die hard.

My 3 Kennedys. I use Uni strut bars, threaded eye bolts with red locktight and master locks to keep unwanted hands out. After seeing the above post with the blue box I dont feel so over protective anymore.
