What's wrong with the deep draw? It's the only draw you can stand spray cans up in.

Nothing's "wrong" with it, just general preference. I don't place any large items in my toolbox that require such a deep drawer. For that I have a large HON 5 drawer lateral filing cabinet and a smaller 5 drawer regular filing cabinet for that type of stuff. Any and all power tools also make their way to the bottom shelf of the workbench or find a place in the lateral cabinet as well.

I hate the open bottoms that the common three drawer rollers have, and those deep "file drawers" often seen in toolboxes. It is to tool box makers what the "filler tools" are to Craftsman in the bigger set of tools; a way to inflate the size without inflating the cost.

It is to me a complete waste of expensive real estate to store paint, bulky power tools or blow mold boxes in drawers like that; there are so many other inexpensive ways to store those things. Besides I must have 50-60 cans of spray paint alone, and another two dozen for lubes cleaners, adhesives and other non-paint aerosol cans... I'd rather keep tools in my tool boxes.

Good to know I'm not alone! I always catch **** from my friends when we discuss or talk about boxes & the sort! They're of the mindset that they want all these huge bulky drawers and I'm always the odd one out!

fina;lly upgraded from my harbor frieght 5 drawer cart to the 42 inch cabinet. Once I got everything organized I realized how much **** was in that 5 drawer box and I still need a bigger box, it never seems to end does it.

Top drawer: all regular sockets.

2nd, 1/2" and 3/8"s ratchets, torque wrenchs and breaker bars.

3rd drawer, metric craftsman industrials and gearwrench ratching

4th drawer gear wrench flex head and ratching stubbies, and craftsman flare nut

5th drawer gets most of the pliers.

6th no home for the stuff anywhere else so here it goes.

Bottom gets oils, grease, cleaing fluid and hand cleaner. Also a little bag a kitty litter, you never know when you might need some.

Top of box, far corner is a piece of 3/4" plate steel for things that need a little beating. The rest is 3/4" plywood painted black for durability.

On the back of the box I took the can tray of the service cart and used some body molding tape to hold it in place, also a couple magnetic trays that I had around.

All of this for a nice at home box. Now just need a project car to work on.

My 3 Kennedys. I use Uni strut bars, threaded eye bolts with red locktight and master locks to keep unwanted hands out. After seeing the above post with the blue box I dont feel so over protective anymore.

You need to paint your Huot brown to match the Kennedy's.

Here is my toolbox , now its a tad different to the ones i have seen in this thread , yes i have broused the whole thread and seen some cracking ones but more so traditional which is what i wanted , can't beat a red toolbox , but i decided that red would stand out too much as mine is housed inside my house due to the garage not been big enough for a toolbox this size , here in the uk you do see alot of limited edition ones tho with grafix's on so not uncommon , but my first preference would of been red , blue a close second , still thinking of getting a smaller red snap on for my garage to house my bodywork stuff as i love red so much ,

there arent many tools in yet , as i have only been collecting for 3 months and the majority of that was saving for the box , before i got into snap on 3 month's ago i just managed with old tools that were thrown on the garage floor lol or in a tiny little rusty toolbox











and here's why i need tools lol hope its ok to put the cars in here
