Boring, OR (yes, it's called Boring!)
I've got a couple of the Costco (CSPS) stainless boxes.
One is 52" wide (or so) and the other is 44" wide (or so)
The stainless looks nice, but it shows any little ding or bump (oops!)
:-(

In my storage container I've got a row of 5-drawer filing cabinets - like 7 side-by-side.
Those work great for collecting all the pneumatic stuff in these drawers, the hinges and latches in that drawer, etc.
I just can't enough drawers....

Here's the set of boxes I REALLY want (but can't quite afford....)
A guy has this on Craigslist for $3500 right now in Ridgefield, WA:
LISTA Professional Grade tool boxes.
1-40"W x 55"H x 22"D 5 Big Drawers and 4 Slide Outs
1-22"W x 44" H x 30" D 7 Drawers
1- 22" 10 Drawers
2-22" 12 Drawers

Sigh...

Boiler Tech/Steamfitter/Pipefitter/Asbestos Inspector-Supervisore with a little HVAC&R thrown in for measure....... here, and I'd have to say....MY TRUCK IS A MESS!

Can't seem to keep up....Robe5000 you should be ashamed keeping a truck that clean!!!:beer:

To be honest, it looks nice, and it's the ONLY way a guy should work, it's the only way to find parts! You just MUST make time to clean up after projects.

For the most part I just put stuff back when I'm done with it, or a take a few extra minutes at the end of a job
Now when it's Friday and 5 o'clock is comin on or it's cold or raining, lets just say the clear space in the middle comes in handy

This is the box I work out of everyday. It is a company truck, but I buy my tools. Most of the other gas compressor companies have nicer trucks. The way I see it they pay for it, I'll drive it.

Some amazing setups here. Mine is very humble! I just fix my own cars and sometimes my friends and don't even have a garage of my own. A friend has kindly let me use his garage so that's where the pics are from. Most of my car repair work is out on the street in Scottish horizontal rain!

This was my only tool box for fifteen years:
firstbox.jpg

My spanners were in a Pringles tube, the socket set sat on top and I had a cheap nasty tool bag for my breaker bar, torque wrench and other bits and bobs.

Then I bought a Peugeot 306 and joined an owners club. I learned a lot from them on how to tackle jobs on the car and it gave me the confidence to do a lot more work on the car myself. So I started spending money on more tools. I bought a load of spanners but the only place I could keep them was in a bucket! So I bought a second hand Clarke HD chest for £60:
clarkebox.jpg

It was great having all my tools organized and easy to access. I liked my car and wanted to keep it a long time so replaced and upgraded the whole front suspension and a load of other jobs. Then the engine blew! I found a Citroen with the same engine for £325 which I've been driving around in for months now. I'm swapping the engine from that into to the Peugeot so it's a good excuse for buying more tools! More tools means bigger box time so I was delighted to score this for £85 off Ebay:
sealeybox.jpg

It's a Sealey AP4805s. The box is a customer return due to dents. You can see the dents and rust on the top. Functionally it's brand new though and is mint inside. I love the 440mm depth of the drawers but they're only 49mm high so I have to watch how I lay stuff out. I've only a couple of photos of the contents as I'm still sorting my tools out in it.

I like that Sealey box... nice and compact. What do you use for pliers and screwdrivers?

Looks like you have a few manuals too! Dang...I could borrow one or two if you lived closer!

Like the steel dividers, where you can see anything you need....Lucky Dog...

Yup, if YOU lived closer you could borrow one or two manuals. I have enough to fill a couple of more bookcases. :D

Has anybody ever seen a Craftsman box like this before? This is a first for me. It's on my local Craig's List and the seller is asking $750. I'm not interested in it but I've never seen one like it before.

.
