Here are a few photos of my small, used proto box again that I recently picked up for $55.

It's nothing special compared to most on here but actually… 99% of all the tools shown, were just bought used, this summer at estate sales etc. shortly after discovering Jeff's "It's Garage Sale Season" thread! Haha! :lol_hitti

I'd love to build up a bigger collection and eventually upgrade someday and obviously I need to get a little more organized but that will come with time. I'm definitely working on it.

Everybody's gotta start somewhere and thanks for your help guys!

My Craftsman stack has become too small which probably isn't a surprise to everyone, so I included my cabinets which contain the overflow.

Here's the US General box I picked up to replace my triple stack. In its new home in the shop I'm in now. More pics later perhaps. Just got the box settled today.

Wow.... those are some halfassed looking welds. Now i'm certainly no expert on toolbox manufacturing, but that looks realllly cheap and substandard.

Those look like add-on welds, the rivets weren't holding.

Having the sockets and wrenches "organized" like that would drive me insane!

Either way sweet collection, I love all the vintage pliers. I pretty picky on the condition of the vintage pliers I buy, seems you got all the good ones.

This thread has made me very envious of how the snap on guys get all there tools in the little plastic trays. Certainly not the most efficient use of space but it sure looks clean and organized with those.

you'll need to host it on a site like photobucket, then use the address for the pic and insert that in to the firld when you click the little postcard looking icon second to the left at the top of this text box.

It's far simpler than that sounded, but thats what you need to do, photobucket and a few others like flicker are free, easy to use and easy to learn.

very beautiful
how much ?

£1000 (incl 20% VAT) delivered for the box, plus a little more for the extras. That's less than my Beta stack was, and this has ~50% more storage area.

Weight is ~230Kg empty. Drawers hold 200Kg each (top 50mm drawer is 75Kg) and the cabinet can support 4000Kg.

The Lista is amazing! I would just leave it sitting as it is and admire it whole day.

Thanks Alx. Just looking at your avatar made me think how nice one in this colour would look in your garage :)

I thought Lista cabinets where made in the USA?

I believe it's just the American ones that are. Lista is a Swiss company with offices/plants in America also. I've heard the US also has some variation in the product catalogue (probably to suit American preferences).

This one was shipped directly from Lista in Switzerland. It's even on the shipping bill.

I couldn't figure this out either so I am trying it.
