I just got the same box off the truck a few weeks ago with the stainless top and drawer guards for less than 3k. Mine is matte black though, and incredibly tough to keep clean.

It's not much and it is filled to the brim but it's holding up so far. Hoping to replace with a Snap-on Heritage box in the future

Applying for credit to buy a toolbox, crazy, but I guess that's how most are able to afford these high end boxes. At first I was thinking people had the $ to buy them outright.

Assumptions can be dangerous. I paid for my box in full in cash with no interest. I got a 68 inch Epiq. Why pay the outrageous interest rates they charge? That money can be much better spent somewhere else. I dont know you or your situation so I may be wrong. I bought my box with Snap On credit that was interest free from 3 months. It was paid off in that 3 months but with the 20% interest they were going to charge me there is no way I would have ever said yes to it if I didnt know I could pay it off interest free.

That high of interest might as well put it on a Credit card.

My Macsimizer. I'm not willing to pay what they want for side lockers so I bought a $400 cabinet that hold more than 2 side lockers would

I wouldn't pay the high interest, I just found it surprising that most guys had the $ to buy $6,000-10,000 tool boxes outright, especially some younger guys who were starting out in the field. I don't know how tool box credit works. I just bought my 4 Viper boxes outright.

Young guys don't have the same bills as the older guys. It wouldn't take to long to save while working out of a cart or cheap box if you saved your money and didn't blow it

I can verify this.. I'm fairly new to the business, and I still stay at home with my parents since I'm still in school part time. At one point, I owed snap on credit ~$4900 in tools and my box, but after about two months, I only owe around $1k.

Some young guys are just smarter with there money. I'm a full time student and tech. Have a house with my buddy and pay my own bills. And I still save a little money.

Finally took a few pics of my new KRL7022 with tools in it and fairly organized. Definitely loving the extra space you get in a 30" deep box

A-Men to that!

When I was a young guy back in the 80's, I spent $800.00 a month on tools (cash!), and bought guns too....and I never lived at home.

My brother, on the other hand, had SOOoooo much more fun buying beer and singing k-roak-ee......HAHAHAHA.....boy he showed me.

Don't let your brother hear you talk like that just in case one day when you're old you may need him to change your diapers. :lol_hitti

Figured I'd share something different. Veto Pro Pac XL. I love this bag. I use this for repairs around the house, or other peoples houses. It has 95% of what I need to perform appliance repair, HVAC repair and maintenance etc. It contains stainless and insulated screwdrivers, pliers, Fluke meters and lead sets and my drill. It's a bit heavy but it saves many trips to fetch tools.

You certainly have the screwdrivers covered. Nice looking bag and tools (great quality). Sure is more than I used to carry when I was out in the field doing telecom work. Thing is though I worked with what the company provided. Had Craftsman Pro drivers but they were all stolen at one point and never got replacements in that style. I have a kit that I put together like yours but not as nice, maybe I should work on that. :)

I've seen plenty of pics of the Veto, they look really cool. My problem is that the toolbag I carry now is heavy, if I had the Veto it would be even worse!

Someone is using a little lot of mine illegally and this is their toolbox. I gave them until the end of the month to clean up. I may take it home if he doesn't but I'll have to look it over better.

Not much compared to some of the beauties you guys have but they work for me. Some day I when the cash is there I will replace them with a nice big roller and top chest.
One thing I do like about having a few smaller stacks is that they are easier to move.
A little bit of Mastercraft, Craftsman, Gray, Beach, MAC and Snap On.

How do you like that Matco cart?

I bought it used in 9/10 condition, the only thing I don't really like is the top two drawers, they dont close as well as the mid and bottom one, the left one rolls smooth and the right one is a little stiff. I also wish it was the full drawer one. for what I paid I think its a great cart

Ya... that "Snap On" mini fridge is a home made deal. I bent some drawer pulls and printed a Snappy sticker and painted the fridge red and some shadow lines.
