Here is mine. Home Depot special I picked up a few years back. Works fine for me but I'm sure it doesn't even begin to compare to some of the nice tool boxes I have seen posted in this thread.

You know this irritates me.All you guys who talk down about your toolboxes.Who cares if its not the top of the line, high dollar box ? I dont.I dont look down on anyone's toolbox.Yours looks to be in a home garage...correct ?

I dont know you guys, but its nice to see differant kinds of tools and boxes. It would be kind of boring if we all had the same box, same color etc..

You buy what you can afford and suits your needs. The fact that you are here talking tools etc... Thats what its all about.

i like the drawer layout of the top box.

FWIW
if i hadent been pulling wrenches for nearly 30 years, i doubt i'd have amassed the amount of tools i have now, and damn sure i wouldnt have SO boxes sitting in my garage.

i'd probably still have the set of kennedy (mechanics) boxes i bought in '78,and the kennedy machinists boxes i bought in '76 & '77 and still have empty drawers....

Your a mobile electronics installer. 2 ways I knew. 1 was your username, only we know what mecp is. 2 was the bitwriter. Only we would recognize it. Be careful on here you will be getting blamed for vehicle electrical problems. Even though we know more about electrical systems than some mechanics. And there is a third that gave it away was your orginization.

lol, ok

I've seen more eff ups on cars from "installers" then normal breakdowns.

Ended up drinking the kool-aid and purchased a US General 44" like everyone else on this board ;) . Very happy with it though, especially for $380 out the door. Looking forward to filling it up tonight and seeing how it does with weight in it.

Other than the thin wall and being 12-point, would there be a reason to own chrome sockets of the same size if I already have the sockets in impacts? I'm just trying to limit unjustifiable expenses.

Ideally no, but, sometimes the wall thickness of the impacts doesn't fit in tight spots.

Kunkernator, where did you get that 75th anniversary ratcheting screwdriver? ;) just kidding.

You're better set up than I was just out of high school.

I like the gloss finish HF switched to on that cabinet. Mine is the crinkle finish and it's filthy and tough to clean.
