Really nice toolboxes on here  :rocker:
So here is a part of my boxes and tools after threwing out some tools which were just crappy :D As I'm just 19 there will be much more tools and hopefully soon a better toolbox cause these ****... :(

I use the yellow one as toolcart and the workbench left to it will soon be on wheels as i really don't know where to put it because i already have too many workbenches :headshake And sorry for the crappy phone pics

The crappy tools drawer which may serve to be modified some day :D

quite a bit more than i had at 19...

just remember just aboout everybody started out with smallisg boxes, and not many tools, it takes years (or a fat wallet) to accumulate the amount of tools, boxes and "stuff" that you see posted.

i've been buying tools since '76 when i started my machinist apprenticeship...

This is my work tool box, my home box is a 41" Homak, but no pics of it as of now. I love both my setups. I have this on a 1.5" angle iron frame to handle the miles my box gets pushed across our plant. Got it full of tools, may get more pictures soon. :)

Diesel crawler, what kind of work are you doing(uh diesel crawlers)? That's a major toolbox for a machinist, I have a classic 60 at work(machinist). Looks like half way between machinist and mechanic?

Since hes working on his red seal Millwright, im going to say, he's a Millwright, which gives him perfect qualification to work on nearly anything and everything. The trade of all trades!

I am not really sure what I am anymore lol. I work in the fields of Marine, transportation, aviation, automotive, farming and all kinds of random ****. I do engine work both machining and repair, Welding (TIG/MIG/Stick/Fluxcore/metalcore/sub arc) Custom fabrication, Engineering, Job pricing, Engine overhauling Electrical, Overhead cranes and the list goes on and answer the phone...Don't know how I got suckered into that one though..

I do armor and weapon smithing gunsmithing silversmithing in my spare time, some weeks I alot myself 2 hours to sleep.

This is my shop, It was really dirty when I filmed this I know...

Actually I don't work professionally but love to work on my truck and friends vehicles who always have issues. Especially when offroading in the middle of nowhere. My best friend is a mechanic and got me gettin dirty now. Its mainly clean cause its not very old. :p

Below are pics of my most recent restoration project. Vintage (I believe 1953) Montgomery Wards Master Quality boxes. The bottom I acquired at an estate sale in Pittsburgh CA, the top in Maplewood MN. They were both in rough shape. I matched the original colors as best I could with rattlers (verde green hammered although the pics make it a more blue than green), and didn't fix any of the creases or dents to leave some of the old character. I have a box of about 500 old keys and found one that worked in the top, and I found one that worked the bottom lock after I removed one of the 4 pins in the lock mechanism.

Here is where I need some help. I need another aluminum label as the label on the bottom box was gone. You can get an idea of the size from the picture. Thanks for your help!

those are sweet! i really like the vintage boxes myself. the new ones with ball bearings and such are nice, but the old remline, craftsman, montgomery ward, waterloo, etc just have so much more style.
