Makes me want to trade my snap on box for that set up.

I priced a KRL 1022 with stainless top and hutch. Dealer had one coming in not sold and he wanted $2500 more for it than I paid for the hutch, top and bottom. I got the locker for the discounted dealer price from the Mac dealer tool show from my dealer. He told me that he sold several boxes over the phone from the tool show.

He also said Mac claimed they sold $5 million in boxes the friday of the dealer tool show. Thats a lot of toolboxes

I do like that big Mac. If I ever get the crazy idea to upgrade, number one on the list is at least one drawer that can hold 60" prybars. I'm pretty sure that mac could do that.

The first and probably the last boxes I will buy. The Red Mac stack I bought new in 1974 and the Purple Snap On box was bought new about 5 years ago. The Mac boxes will become a restoration project one of these days. I put alot of hard miles on those boxes in the 40 years I owned them... The other Red bottom box is one I've also had for a long time but I can't remember the brand and there's nothing to ID it on the box anywhere. It used to have a door on the bottom that pulled out and folded down but that's long gone. And yeah, the trunklid is off one of Kasey Kahne's Cup cars from the 2011 season.

And the whole "Tiny" Garage

Imperial and Whitworth

The Land Rover has been built bolt by bolt from a bare Galv chassis in this garage but thats for a another thread

Just astonishing that Les Brock managed to pack that much stuff into a space that small! OK, feel like I should just clamp my mouth shut when griping about how small my 2-car garage is!

Did the "organizer" on the door come with the safe or was it an extra?

depends on what model you buy, I bought a pretty big browning safe in the fall and it has pockets as well as shotgun and pistol storage on the door. Well worth the extra cash! Plus is weighs 700+ pounds:evil:

Here it is all put together and rolling. My only gripe is the crappy casters. I think I'm going to make a frame for the box to sit on with some upgraded ones. Other than that, I love it!

whats the depth on that box

It's only 18 inches deep. It will suffice for the summer position I'm using it for. If the summer job turns into a full time year-round job, I will upgrade and bringing this one home.

OK I am done for a while but I am going to be adding an 84" in the right of Mr Big soon....... just to even things out. The 3 black tools in the hutch are there because you never know which one you might need.

whats the story on the snappy van go kart thing

I raced unlimited/B stock go karts starting in 1989 when I was a Snap on dealer. It was built for a race down in Daytona during speed week that required a corporate sponsor. Back then Snap on was not into racing as much as they are now and all they would pony up was some jackets for the team. In fact I got a lot of flack from corporate about racing "what if you get hurt who is going to run your truck"...... bunch of sissies sitting behind desks pushing buttons for fun.

I have not raced since mid 90's but still have everything. Kart on the wall by the box is next project. Then race quad and snowmobile some of the toys left over from my youth that make my bones hurt just looking at.

When I left Snap on I continued to race and they made me take Snap on name off the kart so I painted it red. Somewhere I have pics of it when I drove it with Snap on, I will see if I can find them and scan.

Here's my KRL1003 intimidator that's been upgraded and decals removed. I also have my backup box next to it. I am looking at doing an iso caster upgrade, finishing the Cadillac decals, and converting my right krl1012 locker into a power cab.

Traded in my, KRA2418 (classic 96) for this 78" triple bank Matco box.

The Air hammer, Cobras, and, OTC Tie rod tool, were part of the trade.

It took about 2 Hours, to get everything, re-organized.

Beside a 60" EPIQ
