Kind of lame compared to everyones massive Snap On boxes on here, but im just a beginner tech and this is my first toolbox. Its a Craftsman grip latch set, i love the grip latch feature, adds a real premium feel. I've got a mix of Snap On and Craftsman inside, ill post the individual drawer pics if anyone wants to see them, but i wont flood the thread unless someone asks. My little Craftsman magnetic tray makes a good coat hangar i recently found out :D. Here it is:

I'm a Craftsman fan. lol
I'd like to see how your drawers are set up.

I'm currently collecting up a set. I'm an amateur that's always wanted a decent set of tools.

the rusty tools in there came rusty ... i just havnt had time to clean em - too busy using em in my time off.

%255BUNSET%255D.jpg

%255BUNSET%255D.jpg

- this drawer and the one below it (not pictured) are my most used tools (along with hex keys) - can you guess my background ?

%255BUNSET%255D.jpg

ive already decided to have a cull of crappy screw drivers from this drawer and get some more Wera - i bought some laser tip last trip home and realised how crappy my ones are + this drawers too big for screwdrivers - be better as a spanner drawer

%255BUNSET%255D.jpg

nothing fancy just workhorse halfords - us uk DIY mechanics like halfords stuff as its lifetime warrenty on their pro range and if im honest the only thing ive broken has been an extension bar I "may" or "may not" have used an impact driver through....but they swapped it out for me no bother.

Top drawer is just my tool truck catalogs, my 800 lumen flashlight, Snap On saftey glasses (Awesome, dont fog up and very comfortable), and other things i need quick access to. If anybody wants part #'s to any of the Snap On stuff just ask :D. I also wipe down all of my tools before they go back into the box, i like things clean.

Then ive got a set of Craftsman ratcheting wrenches and some Craftsman double box deep off set (Handier then you might think )

Then i have my favorite tools in my whole box, my double box end Snap On metric long handled wrenches. also just basic Craftsman wrenches.

Some Craftsman Profession screwdrivers (Love this set) and some picks as well as a ratcheting screwdriver thats handy
[

Snap On pliers/side cutter set, with some flashlights and ear plugs, phone charger and some pain meds for those damn headaches

Then we move into the bottom box, when i got the box i had a little Craftsman mechanics tool set and i just moved the trays in the bigger box for now until i replace it all with Snap On tools. This is the 1/4in drive drawer, and a Snap On 1/4in ratchet in there with all my work gloves.

Then just the 3/8in Drive drawer, with some misc tools that i dont use often. Also my beloved 3/8in compact Snap On ratchet in there

The 1/2in drawer, some midget Craftsman wrenches in there too. Also have one of my favorite tools, my locking flex head Snap On 1/2in drive long handle, Craftsman breaker bar, and a Craftsman Torque wrench that wasn't in there at the time. Theres a Craftsman impact socket set too, got it for 40$ during Sear's holiday sale.

Then the bottom drawer almost nothing in it yet, power tools/air tools once i buy some

^^^Nice start!!

Those trays are beloved by lots of guys. I know some who go out and buy those plastic chests just to rip those trays out of them!

I like your thought process on getting the Snap On ratchets first. They are so nice to work with. I am not a pro but am always working on someone's car in my spare time and the SO ratchets make things so much more enjoyable!

Bhalv - you got it.

10 years a workshop manager in a mom and pop shop in a small town - moved to the city with my fiancee and moved shops. 2 months in a multi store corporate run outfit and i jacked due to politics and just no leyway to make decisions- you were a puppet rather than a manager and it was being run badly with no focus on customer service at all just ripping them off imo.

Not going to show what's inside for fear of you never know who is watching what you have and steal from you. Yes, I'm a little paranoid, but here is what I have

i try to clean em before i put em back in the box - takes seconds if you do them as you put em back otherwise they are mank next time you use em - dirty tools are never fun.

Really? No, Really? Just putting up box pictures defeats that idea. Now they know what size truck or trailer to get and just haul it all away..... :dunno:

Jasoninwisconsin, i've had the facom box since 2011, and i use it every day at work!:)
And at my work, we have to buy our own tools, and therefore i always wash and put everything on place after a job, and then i Get "paid" for doing it!:)
And since i work as a Bodyman and painter, i can't have tools with oil and dirt on.. :)

It helps if you wrap your keyboard in tin foil before you post, has worked great for me so far! :lol_hitti

I think im finally happy with the way I have it organized, redone it a few times the last and most recent time emptied out 2 drawers , No pics of the thread repair drawer because the drawer is out of the box (had a chip in paint waiting on new drawer)

I skipped the 2 empty drawers(still have to put the stuff in them ) and the missing drawer.

yes Im obsessive about cleaning tools, Nothing is put back in before it wiped off, Yes my snap on guy loves me, I no longer turn wrenches for a living so its a home box, that why I got white
