Ha thanks, a whole lotta beer was consumed in the making of that. Started with a chain saw and a pile of logs. I still need to find a solid door for the top. I havn't been able to punch a hole in that one yet but I'm pretty hard on equipment so I know it'll happen sometime.

No I've seen it. Its filled with a ton of stuff, snap on, cornwell ect. Big Time Toolboxes is the name of the column that that box is in. Their are a lot of massive tool boxes. It's in the vehicle service pros magazine, which is a great magazine as well. Shout out to the magazine.

Not sure I like that top section on that enormous box above. Kinda looks weird to me. The lower portion is impressive and I like the cranberry color. If that's what makes him happy that's all that matters. Well done.

At the other end of the scale, I had three boxes in the garage but gave the one in the middle to my daughter's two boys. Couldn't give it to my son's four boys and three girls because his garage is now a warren of bedrooms.

He could really open up quite a bit of space if he organized some of those drawers. One drawer looks like he owns 2 of every wire stripper made.

I made my living as a technical writer so I only play mechanic, plumber, electrician, carpenter and computer geek. This stainless box from Costco was a big step up for me; it replaced a JC Penny toolbox I bought in 1977.

Got the base built. Have 4 angle iron feet (not pictured) that I used to bolt the box into the truck.

The base is built of 2x7" channel, about 5/16" thick. The runners are 1x2" solid bar. I built it from stuff I had around the shop, it bolts to the bottom of the box with four 1/4" bolts in the factory threaded holes.

It'll work. It doesn't take much space to get a forklift fork under something. The height of the channel is fine, but it's wider than most forklift forks. Shouldn't matter though. Some rectangle tube would've been "perfect", but I didn't have any.
Truth be told, the biggest advantage of the base so far is the angle iron feet I bolted to the outside of the channel and used to bolt it to the floor.

Ratchets, sockets, thread files, wheel bearing punches in there somewhere, giant screwdriver for banging, some scissors, the strip of impact sockets and allen sockets are probably the most used.
Large wreches excluding a Proto 1 13/16 which is in between my seats, hammers except my sledge, air tools, roloc discs, extensions, some really ****** punches, a large 3 jaw puller is in with the hammers but taken apart to save space.
Variety of wrenches, 1/4 inch sockets and misc sockets.
Screwdrivers, pliers, 2 files, picks nutdrivers I dont use, couple of c clamps.
Torch things, smoothie, gauges and wasted space.
Jack and large Rigid.
Linde things.
loctite, red and blue, cutting oil, battery cleaner and protector.
Cordless.
Stuff.
Cab
Everything but the block and injection pump broke. Lol
I'm organized slightly for a road guy.
They rode this one with no water pump, till it shutdown. Lol.
My very sick but excited son with a new shirt.

I just received my box from strictlytoolboxes.com got the 72" toolvault i am still trying to get everything organized and figure out where i want thing, still have some to move over from my harbor freight box.

the toolbox is very good quality on the same level as some of the snap on boxes friends have (not sure of what level snap on box), i am overly please with the box, i had to go with the 24" deep because of room in my shop but if i ever go to a bigger shop and want a 30" deep box i will be buying from them again.
my only complaint so far is the stainless top dents very easy if things are dropped on it and is hard to keep clean.
and i haven't found a happy place to put my pliers yet but i am sure that will all work out in time and i will figure out what drawers i want what tools in.

Only thing that makes me want to buy a Snap On box is with my student discount ill be able to get a SO box that size for the same price as a cheaper brand. I'm not buying a new box until my small Craftsman is stuffed full
