Box looks good.This is my Gladiator box
How solid is the top drawer in the Gladiator in your opinion ?
Also is that a mesh liner and what brand is it ?

I don't have to much to compare it with, but I think you can load it good, it has one ball bearing slide in etch side and one in the middle under the drawer, the only down side I found is that when I drag it around the workshop the top drawer tends to open, **** then I just lock it.
In Sweden there's still just a small market for this kind of boxes so the picking is slim if you want something big and worth the money. I envy you Americans that heave every size and shape and price range to pick from

Started out with the HF 26" boxes but quickly filled them up so I purchased an end cabinet and modified the box for it. The setup worked great but slowly ran out of room once again.
A couple months ago I got a
screaming deal on an unused HF 44" roller cab from a co worker of mine that I couldn't pass up. I didnt really want to dedicate this much floor space for tool boxes (only have a 20x20 garage) but at least I shouldn't run out of storage anytime soon! Don't mind the mess, at the time this picture was taking I was in the middle of redoing some shelves trying to recoup the space I lost.

So the Rock n' Roll truck came to town…
This started a conversation about buying a new box. I've been wanting a new box for years, but have kept putting it on the back burner. Talked about prices and rebates/double rebates, "preferred customer discount", etc…
Looked at the KRL's and Epic's, but was just more than I was willing to bite on. The driver that use to run my route (riding second party with the Rock n' Roll Driver) mentioned their was a box on my driver's truck they haven't been able to get rid of. Been riding around on the truck 1-2 years. A brand new KRL7022 in what he called "Primer Gray" (Arctic Silver). He told me he could do $2,900 on it and give me 9.9% Interest. I priced a SS Top ($769) and told him I'd think about it. I did my normal business with my regular driver and they went on their way. I looked up the box and saw retail was $7,150 and it really began to gnaw on me I should grab this box! Not the Model, Color or drawer configuration I would pick out if money wasn't a issue, but a very large improvement over what I've been working out of for years.
I dwelled on it a couple hours and my driver called me back and said they had another bite on the box. I yapped a couple minutes, he gave me a $115 discount on the SS Top and told him sold!
Really not big enough as it was full soon as I got all my stuff in it. Had to leave a lot of "Junk" (**** connectors, wire, german braided hose, assorted fittings, hose clamps and anything else you could imagine) in my old CM box. The CM box is now a "Junk" box. I'll miss not having a junk drawer(s) or a top box, but I'm still pretty stoked!
That is the Mac Cart and CM box I moved out of. The cart has a random assortment of tools that will be going home. The CM box will stay for all my "Junk".
Still got some gaps to fill in and gonna do some more minor arranging, but I think I got it to where it should be workable for my needs.

I think that Arctic Silver looks good. Goes well with the SS top and looks clean. That CM box looks just like the one I had and ended up giving to my son.

CM box was overloaded for years, cart was full too. Several things were just stacked in the floor beside the CM box. lol…

Just bought my first toolbox! Have been looking around for a decently priced 6 or 7 drawer box for a few months now. Came across this one, which was priced very well for 275€ for the bottom box and 300€ for the two. Since the MSRP is a multiple of that and it is in superb condition, I couldn't say no
I do have way to much space now for the tools that I (currently) have though, haha!

Sorry I missed your post. Just like my stainless gas grill, my stainless toolbox holds up better in the humidity here in South Florida. When I removed the original top chest from my 1996 painted Craftsman box, this is what I found:
My Phillips drivers are in the other garage toolbox, along with the metric wrenches. The second garage toolbox is a $49 scratch and dent Craftsman that had a 26" base and an 22" top chest. I also had a 26" All American mid-chest mounted under a workbench in my shop (small outbuilding at the back of the property). I swapped the two and put up a little piece of pegboard to gain a couple of square inches.
It's not much but I gained a little extra space for free.

Driver mdae me a deal a couple weeks ago on it, been thinking it over. It was between a Cornwell of the same size or this 68" Epiq. The epiq not only looks great but it feels nicer. Price was so close it wasnt a factor.

Got the base for free from a friend and bought the top for 50$ full of tools when i finished school.
Painted it porsche racing green and some ki d of porsche code charcoal got the sticker as a gift from my sis and voila! Very happy with it.

I have the same exact cornwell box! Did you sell the so driver buy it or do you still have it? I'm looking to upgrade mine in the near future and wondering what the dealer felt it was worth.

The SO driver is taking it as a trade it. I got it used from another SO guy in my hometown. The guy before me took really good care of it. Has couple blemishes but not much. I only put on scratch on it, and it wasnt my fault. I clean it every week. Both him and cornwell wanted to give me $3000 for it, I worked more out of them.

Sounds like a good idea but I don't expect to empty two drawers. I don't have enough space on the left side but I do have enough room on the right to fit the small Sunex box that Summit sells for about $20:
