I remember my matco guy gave me a $1000 for this old multi tool box craftsman I had. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't get that boat anchor on his truck fast enough.

Driver mdae me a deal a couple weeks ago on it, been thinking it over. It was between a Cornwell of the same size or this 68" Epiq. The epiq not only looks great but it feels nicer. Price was so close it wasnt a factor.

Just a spectacular color scheme.

I got them! But it makes me feel like I dont have any tools! The cornwell was pretty well filled too, even took some out of my roll cart haha. My pry bars are not pictured but they have there own drawer, also two empty ones are not pictured.

Hey, no worries I have a little guy compared to your box. I have the HF 44 and previously had the 4 drawer cart and it was over filling. Got the HF 44 and now I have like 3 or 4 empty drawers.

Everyone has to start somewhere. This will be my third box. I started with a small proto and side cart i got from a co worker. A tool box is just a fancy item, the tools and knowledge make a tech.

Knowledge is correct. Someone could have some the cheapest tool set and be great and another person coilf have snap on or matco tools and not know a thing. I hate it when someone thinks havibg expensive tools makes them a great mechanic.

You are miles ahead of me! I've been working out of a HF 4 Drawer cart and my ancient 26" Craftsman stacker. Between the two I have more tools than my buddy's huge Snap-On box. All about organization.

Drawers arent bad at all, when it lifts and I got to pull you can feel it pull against the box but I like it like that. I kinda wish it had something to slow the drawer down because it slams most of the time if im not careful. Use to not having great slides haha. Im not worried about the space at all guys!

Honestly we have an independent tool guy that comes around twice a year and he had them for around $150? They are sunex, its the biggest set they make. I wanted some swivels so I bought them. They have come in handy, just wish I would have gotten the metrics instead of SAE. Oh well I will get the metrics to match and then get 3/8s off the tool trucks in 6 point. I use my buddys 3/8s more than those

Here's my weekend warrior toolbox.

Just upgraded from my first toolbox (a 26" Craftsman 5-drawer) to a 41" Masterforce. I love the drawer layout and grip-latches, but wouldn't mind the drawers being a little deeper.

Lots of my original tools are Craftsman. I pretty much refuse to buy any Craftsman now, though.

I'm a mechanical engineer at Caterpillar...which explains the stickers.

All my sockets/ratchets. Started out with all Craftsman, but have been slowly adding Harbor Freight impact sockets and a couple select HF ratchets. Socket trays are Kobalt from Lowe's.

Wrench drawer. Ernst wrench rails. Most English wrenches are Craftsman RP. Most Metric are DeWalt, which are actually pretty nice!

Misc.

Pliers. Mixed brands/qualities.

Screwdrivers. Craftsman & Williams.

Hex keys & torx.

Inspection tools.

Pneumatics and HF torque wrenches.

Persuasion devices.

Tap & die set, HF brake caliper set, and extra space.

Extra tools, duplicates, receipts, junk.

What part number is it that ***** for future reference?

Yeah I know they are more compact but I'm going to fill all the spaces in and my father had Hansen trays which I was not a big fan of.

That is a cool design feature having the side panel areas open up. Never seen anything like that over here. I like the top as well with recessed areas molded in.

The part number escapes me at the moment but it takes an 1 1/2" socket and a 24" breaker bar won't move it (I've never got one free without an impact).

Sounds crazy, but I believe it, we do some odd stuff now and then

If that's in one of the Al cast pans you might have some galvanic corrosion helping stick it, hard to say. Come to think of it I think remember one of the fab'd pans I use having a big a$$ plug like that.... have to take a look. I usually try to end up using one that also is a stop valve that gets connected via drain hose to the base rail of the genset and then the Union fitting at the base rail gets plugged

Picked up the 44" HF setup over the weekend and decided to finally go through the CMan chest I drug down the Alcan a few months ago. Didn't think I had room for the HF chest, but everything fit in that corner with less than .5" of clearance Haha. Just need to figure out what to do with the compressor now.

Couple more. Not sure what exactly to do with the cabinet. I want to keep PPE in there like gloves, respirator, etc. I think I need to order another shelf though. I don't want it to just turn in to a closet that stuff gets jammed in to randomly to get it out of the way.

Been working on those for a lot of years, never had to use an impact. Just the inch and a half wrench and and my foot. Have seen a lot of guys do that though, just not my style.
