Thanks for the kind words,guys.I try to attend every update seminar that is available,since you always pick up a hot tip or two,and I have passed 4 of the OPEI/EETC certification tests for this type of equipment,and have to recertify every 3 years.It really is a great place to work,I enjoy doing it every day.I like the variety of the repair jobs.

ossaguy ... What a great looking set up you have there. The notes under the pictures on photobucket made them very easy to view.
The whole thing wouldn't look out of place in a jet or helicopter shop.

I didn't see a bar spreader... But I love that 011 roller bearing holder. Darn thing makes me crazy!

I've never seen a bar spreader,I'll have to look in the Stihl catalog.I just love their tools.The best German materials.Some are just so super expensive,others are reasonable.The 4-mix tool set is a nice value.
It's amaziing how much faster you can get a certain job done with that exact factory tool,isn't it?
I've had to invent and make a couple of special tools that really help out.

I think they call it a groove guide, actually. Should have made it myself. $90 for a piece of shim. Don't think I'll save enough bars in my lifetime to make that one worthwhile.... 
But yeah, gotta have the special tools. Made my own case spreader, comp/vac tester, clutch puller, modded regular seal pullers to get by. Flywheel pullers are cheap enough though, same for the carb set screw limiter cap pullers (much better than a drwwall screw)...

Yes. Actually, it came packed full of tools; mostly good stuff too. Plus a garage full of stuff. My 15yr old son is keeping all the tools to sell on eBay, and I kept the boxes and a few other items.
But we do accept visitors who want first dibs on the tools before they go to eBay. Any member here can send a PM if they are interested and close enough to Westchester NY to make a trip worthwhile. We are not set up like a store...everything is piled in bins. But we have literally tons of Snap-on, MAC and Matco stuff right now. Prices in person are 40% of list (or less, depending on condition). In two months or so, it will be all gone...and we'll be off to the next collection.

Thanks for the interest, but I have WAY too many to post here. Also, I do not have any way to really display them well, as they are all dumped in plasic bins piled 3-4 high in my shed. But I did post an invitation to members here to stop by and browse; but clearly you are not around ther corner.
Well, if you ever make a trip to New York City, I'm less than an hour from there, less without traffic. Most of the Broadway shows are so hurting right now, it's really easy to get discounted tickets. So tell the wife you want to take her for a weekend on the town in NYC to take in a show on Broadway, then, the following morning, drop her off at Bloomingdales or Saks while you make a quick detour up here.
I also promise to post the more unusual and special items here.

welcome... i am recommend you to be careful what you see and what you read on this forum... because when i started work as service technician, i has 40in wide toolboxes but when i had read this forum and see all tools and toolboxes they show, i started to feeling like i want it, want that, want those... that end me up with KRL1203 and KRL1003 with tons of tools in... bad habit for me....
Yes. Got a lot of interest. The winning bidder drove 350 miles here from Quebec (in a snowstorm as well,) to pick it up. He ended up staying here about 5 hours going through all the tools my son has for sale, and went home with a load of tools, the S-O boxes, a Car Quest wall cabinet and an Sears compressor. His girlfriend/fiancee was with her the whole time, and you could just see the "you're gonna owe me big time for this escapade" look in her eyes. All I can say, is sometimes you can meet some great people through the internet.

oh no... that is not good! it seem like your co-worker want bigger than your toolbox as ego... i did look at tech 1000 in past time, i dont feeling it as good for myself... so i look at macsizmer that other tech has at work, it is wider but not deeper like my snap on KRL series. But everyone have options, choices, and feeling as they will work with it everyday...
well his reason to buy a maximaizer was he dident whant a box whith the same writing that i have bougt!!!! so he ordered a black mb1354, but he dosent have enough tool to fill one drawer!!! we dont use sae here so i dont think he will ever out grow that box

oh damn... that is not good to have big toolbox while almost empty inside.... when i got bigger box, i already filling them up but still have spaces to use for future...

ive been working on aircraft since i was 13 when i get time off school i help out in a welding/fab shop and im the top welder in my schoollearning 3 welding processes mig stick and gas tig next year (ran out of time this year)
wish i had more money to spend on tools i havn't seen the snap on truck in months

aircraft... what kind of aircrafts you work on?? i am suggest you to save money and try pay cash which snap on dealer would discount the price or make a deal with you... but be very caution what you do with money and tools.... try to avoid the payments to tool trucks... i am trying to keep zero balance on tool trucks...

Yea if i cant afford to just buy somthing i dont buy it ive heard some real horror stories I mostly pay debit though.

true... that is not good idea to have huge debt to pay... if you buy for sample is buy tools and it is total 300 or 400 dollars (sample) you can pay 200 dollars now then next week 100 or 200 dollars then that it Not like 30 or 50 dollars a week!!!
i did bought used KRL1003 from my snap on guy and i paid lot of money in first week then next week i paid it off... it is important to save the money what you need then when have money to pay full instead payment but i am recommend you to look somewhere if there is a used tools for sale like ebay or else which you can get for cheap than tool truck unless you could not find one used then buy from tool truck...
