New cornwell box

Almost bought that same box. Then my Cornwell dealer went under before I pulled the trigger. Pics don't do that box justice. Thing is huge.

Riiiiiight.....!.....keep telling urself that one, it will make anything make sense haha

In that case I'm gonna double all my tools that are chrome in an indudtrial finish ....this way they stand out when I'm working on a show car with all chrome parts. I can find my wrench easier if it's black haha

Just messing w ya man!

That's actually too big of a box for the shop I'm in... 6 full truck and trailer depth bays but there's 2ft between doors so it get's tight and having a small box is nice getting around. Ever pushed a loaded 72" box? Yeah... That's no bueno after two trips across the shop.

The Extreme boxes are nice but I don't really like the drawer layout and made in the USA was the deal breaker (Plus I can get slides from the MAC guy).

I gotcha:thumbup:
I was not telling you to get it. I was more so thinking of "if it were me"..
I understand. I have an extreme 56", snap on tool cart, harbor freight tool cart and a snap on krl777 so please trust me I understand about having to walk back and forth to a tool box. I have been there and don't that.
I understand though trust me.

Exactly  The little box is nice because I can roll it up and just work right out of my box without having to walk to get a tool

Worked in shops for years where we pushed loaded 72 inch top and bottoms. That said most of us have big carts now. Good looking box though.

That is what I would do is all I am saying. :dunno: for the price only.
I would load up what I need on a cart and roll but we all are different and as long as you are happy I am happy:beer:
The Proto is a nice box. :p

The Proto is a nice box. :p

It "just fits" between the drive tires and the back of the fuel tank on the longer wheelbase trucks so I can tuck it away if I need room to get around the truck

That is cool:thumbup:
I have a little gray rubbermade cart that I use to load all my tools on while I am in my garage to wheel to the car I work on just to keep track of everything. If I had the space (Which you do) I would roll by box too but I don't have that space. I like that work area looks like a very clean shop also.:willy_nil

Dealership = clean shop :thumbup:

Are you going to add to the box? Custom top, MDF or anything or leave her as is?

1/4" plate steel work surface. Probably buffed and polished for a "brushed steel" look. Add a vise and then fab up a bracket that bolts in place of the handle on the other side to hold my creeper, air hoses, extension cords etc... Mount some speakers on it somewhere too. Might tuck my sound bar underneath the box so it's out of the way. I have like 8" of ground clearance so might as well use it for something :dunno: That or put some creeper brackets under there.

and now when i try to upload more it fails to upload :wtf:

i'll post more when i can

always happens that way...

I picked up this PowrKraft top box this morning with some tools for $50. I'm not sure about the spoon and the veil of powder, should I taste a bit like they do In the movies?:scared:

Thought I would toss up some updates. Not all of the new stuff I picked up, didn't know if there would be any interest in measuring tools and such.

nice box. I see you have the two low profile ratchets from HF (short and long flex ) I have those as well. they have come in handy many , many times. not really designed for high torque fasteners but sure are usefull.

Hey Diesel Crawler, nice box. On a side note, is that a current Wurth calendar? My buddy who owns a huge body shop usually gets me one of those every year, said he asked the Wurth rep, told him they aren't making them anymore. Damn shame, if it's true.

Wow life got busy and I stopped spending so much time on the computer. But here is an update! This is what my box looked like last time I was on here... around six years ago lol

DSC00474.jpg

I still have both carts the one on the left is still at work and the one on the right in front is at home now

And here is now after some new upgrades after running out of room

IMAG1804_zpsd251dfc8.jpg

Changed the short locker out added another and the hutch. Tons of room now, time to fill it up. I also work at a much larger/ busier shop so lots of changes.

The Wurth Calendars arent being given to US Wurth Sales reps anymore. Thats why you see them for sale on ebay OUTSIDE the US.
