The Milwaukee drawer, minus impacts:

I knew I shoulda finished my top before I put it on. Took roughly 10 minutes after I laid it on there to make it all dirty. :dunno:[/QUOTE]

Top drawer is starting to get really heavy... Probably going to order a second set of slides for it on Monday.

Did some re-organizing too.

Just got my 6" and 4" narrow drawers in yesterday... special thanks to Spudland Dave for finding the part numbers for those. Best $300 I've spent on this thing, that 10" deep drawer was friggin' pointless. Snap On should build 'em like this. Or even better, a "KRL122" with another row of 4" drawers, for those of us who don't need 30" deep boxes. :pimpflash

(Most of) The socket & ratchet drawer. My ratchets mostly live on my cart, and my phone doesn't take wide enough pics.

That's an awesome idea with the drawers. Could you post the part numbers please. I'll do the same to mine.

761JL72 and 73, plus your paint/trim code. Word of warning, they list for about $550, and technically don't include slides, lock n roll combs, or drawer liners. My dealer sold them to me for $300 and left 2 pairs of slides. For some reason, the 4" drawer was too narrow for the normal slides, but he left me a set of older (and heavier duty) looking slides that were thicker and worked correctly. No idea what's up with that. The drawers look identical in width, but with the regular slides there was a 3/8" or so gap if I locked one slide on. :headscrat

I really don't know why they don't come from the factory like this. The 10" is a serious waste of space, and I see here I'm far from the only one who feels that way.

I like the 10" drawer. I keep all my tools with cases in there.

There's always that. I rarely keep things in their cases, unless it's a kit or something. I did it with my axle nut sockets (minus the lid) since I have the room and it seemed easier than the rail I had my old ones on. Lucky for me, I don't have to worry about coworkers stealing my stuff, so most of mine go on the shelf next to my box. I "donated" my old box to the shop to keep our collection of specialty tools, much better than the previous "all stacked in 6 piles on one shelf" system.

I pondered keeping the drawer, but figured I'll keep an eye out for a bulk cabinet and gain more workbench width, and a bunch more space instead. :D

Nowhere any normal person would want to live
Finally got some help moving the homemade hutch to the shop. Aside from tacking up the obligatory bikini girl calender, I haven't set anything up yet. Spent a couple hours after work last night hanging the bright-*** light and cleaning out the black box and consolidating some of my duplicate tools. Took a couple boxes of random stuff home. Not done yet but I'll chip away at it over the next week and finish moving in. Maybe I'll take some drawer pics later so you guys can see just how few tools I actually get by with  . Check out my sweet new cushy mat.

I didn't need an Epiq for home use but I got a deal I couldn't pass up. I wasn't 100% sure about the green but it's grown on me. Awesome box, fantastic upgrade from the KRL722 I had previously.

Just bought this Wednesday. First year, had a 27" Canadian TIre box, I was confident would be great for my first year...not so much.

I had no intention of anything but a new valve core tool, but it was on the truck and sooo shiny.:bounce:

54" Master series. Didn't need this much room, but hey, some people buy too much beer and drugs, and I buy too many tools.

How do you like the Husky? Do the drawers handle weight well?

The top and bottom are different top is 8 years old I bought it as a scratch n dent that box is nice well made and solid pd 150 ish
The bottom is new paid 199 reg 279 I think it's worth full price but it is not a strong or solid box by any means
The only thing that bugs me about both is I hate the detents.u don't have to use them if u are not gonna lock
It's at best a home or DIY box it's on par w the hf 44 and 1/2 the price
I only bought it to match the top I had already
The other reason I bought it is I don't want a obvious red tool box in my garage I want to deter break ins
If I get around to it I'll take A pic. I have some 3/4 stuff in bottom drawer that is about the limit on that drawer

Nice setup!

That's a pretty solid collection
TY the KRL761 10" drawer I swapped 20yrs ago for 2 smaller ones. Also all my special sockets, crows feet (line & Reg) are in metal cases for storage purposes. All theses tools fit into my KRL 761. I just bought the top box KRL791 a month ago. Just shows you that with good tool organization you can fit anything in a box :)

This is a pic of one of the bottom double slide drawers
With this 3/4 set in it I see slight flex on the slides at full extension
I would guess if I doubled the weight the drawer wouldn't last a year

That orange handled Matco ratchet. I've been looking all over for one and can't find them anymore. I know they stopped making them.

The Craftsman is a tool box, the Fat Max is my sign painting 'kit box'! I love it----huge with lift out tray, water-proof, doubles as a seat or a step stool. The wood one was my first and probably only project I made with my dovetail jig using basic plan idea from 'The Toolbox Book' published by Taunton Press.

My turn:

I share some garage space with my housemates, but I take my workspace & toolbox more seriously than they do:

Looks nice. I also like the Kicker iK501! :)
