Moose's box is organized the way I like, using it to its max. My boxes have been over filled for years. With the recent job change, a lot is at home now. My shop tools and my 1022 are home. My fomer service truck tools are at work in my classic 60/ kra 62 set up. It weird being able to see the bottom of the drawers at work. Then I come home and tools are three layers deep in the 1022. Only now am I realizing how full that box really is.

i aint goin back 100 pages to show my main box when I started on the GJ.
I had a craftsman bottom and a snap-on top that I bought brand new over 10 years ago. they were both friction slide drawers, and I thought that was fine for me. I don't wrench for a living 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I work on my own **** after work everyday and all day on the weekends.
well 2 things happened. I bought Blackhawk tools years ago, and just thought they were good tools, but a little over a year ago I started to really get into vintage Blackhawk and the more I found the more I became a fan.
and I kinda got jealous of roller bearing drawers;)
so last feb I found this Blackhawk by proto bottom box on CL for a steal.
I put my snap-on on top of it and w/in a month I could tell the difference between friction slide and BB. I wasn't happy.
last week on CL I found this Blackhawk by mac top box and grabbed it quick.
so now they kinda match. it's my main box.

I love that 1033. Makes me want to sell all the boxes and carts except the KRL777 and get that 1033.
Congrats. That is a lot of box and then the 1022 what are you putting inside of them? Can you fill both of those Geez:lol_hitti

I may look into this now.

Is it a KRL777PM? :eyecrazy:

It is always good to sell a KRL777 and get a KRL1033. That's a shop morale booster. ;)

Hi...
It's a KRL 777APF Teal. I like the 777 because they are rare.
I had one before and I sold it and was regretting it ever since so I looked and looked for another and it took me a very long time to find this one so I gotta keep her. Like I said before "you never know what you have til it's gone".
All my tool boxes and tools are in my garage not a shop. Though I do call it the shop lol!:p

1033 is a nice box:drool:
I am selling my extreme 56" box and two tool carts :willy_nil

Sounds like bogo to me !

Hes had the 1033 on the truck since Christmas time, he had a 7022 on the truck in green about a month ago and I was really interested in it, would of been $2900 after rebates and trading my craftsman in. Went on vacation for 2 weeks and he sold that while I was gone, but he ordered a 1022 for me since he knew I was interested in the box which would of been $2800 after trade. He had both the 1022 + 1033 on the truck yesterday and wanted to make me a final offer on the 1033 he lowered it down some more to $5000 after trade. I would of rather had a 1023. So I chose the 1022 and showed my dad the 1033 for himself since I thought it was a pretty bangin deal and the driver made a package deal for us of $7490 to get them both off the truck. Overall pretty satisfied, with the deal, seems they sell for more used then that price.

JohnHenrys48 I have a 40" Craftsman I picked at a good price with no bottom box so I made a frame similar to a cart out of 3/16 x 1 1/2 inch angle and adjusted it to my height and now I can have my tools inside or outside when needed. RNGR1

Moo

Moose your organization is great im gonna have to do some similar arragements in the near future !

Moo to you too!

Not sure about organized, it's just making do with the available space. It's not ideal but it works as i can't afford a bigger box.

Moose u must be a diesel guy I see some custom length torx and driveline sockets in there

General car mech, mostly German cars, but we have a lot of diesel cars here in Europe. I have a fair few diesel-specific tools like special flare nut wrenches and flare nut sockets for working on them. Biggest things i regularly work on are Sprinter vans and similar. I had some driveline sockets, but they're usually used for other uses.

Moose's box is organized the way I like, using it to its max. My boxes have been over filled for years. With the recent job change, a lot is at home now. My shop tools and my 1022 are home. I need to move some stuff around, get more things out of their trays and into wrench racks. Some stuff i never use will be sold off to make space/money.

Looks like mine will be going home soon too. I'm almost done with this industry.

I actually had to replace that bottom box a couple months ago. The floor of the box was buckling and the spot welds were breaking apart from the weight in it. I need to make a steel frame and weld it on, but haven't got around to it yet. :)

On Monday I sold by husky boxes that were built into a workbench, and bought a Torin 42" top/bottom box that TSC had on sale up here. My new box is 100x better then my old husky. I haven't had a chance to load my tools in there yet but that's my Saturday project.

The more I see white boxes the more I like them. What type of work do you do that makes you keep the ear muffs handy? And welcome to GJ

I picked up this Craftsman mainly because it was black and it was on sale and matches my $15 bottom box which was an old cash box. I think it's a pretty cool little setup for my office. I still need to organize it and put in only the thing that I use inside the house. I have enough junk out in the shop already. :lol_hitti

Anyway, here are the pix:
