Hello Everybody,

Most of my tools are Facom bought more than 20 years ago (so Made in France) ,

Facom + 2 Knipex (Made in germany)

Facom + 2 Bost pliers (Made in France)

Facom 1/4" & 1/2" ratchet sets + few ratchets: Bahco 1/4", Facom 1/4" rotary, Hazet bit ratchet & Wera bit ratchet

Magnusson 1/4" ratchet set made in Taiwan but very good quality and lifetime warranty & cheap (4 times less expensive than Facom !!!)

Misc: I bought the big KTC (Kyoto Tool Company) scredriver in Japan but it's Made in France by Bost like the small just above !

As far as the 44 goes it's great. I don't know about the 56. But I could only thinks it's of the same quality. I'm thinking of either adding on or going with the 56

They changed the way I work on cars a little. I used to walk to my box every time I needed a tool but now the tools I use 90% of the time are on my 5 drawer cart and I only visit the big box for job specific tools. My productivity jumped up immediately.

The boxes are great. The price is unbeatable. They will last a career, easily.

As promise, the toolbox tour. I know I've said it before but I'm really not a tool snob so there's a bit of everything in the mix. Feel free to ask questions if you see something you don't recognize.

I primarily work out of my cart so it's set up with the tools that get used 98% of the time, hence the second story. The bigger box houses mainly duplicates, specialty items, etc.

I love them (KRL 777). The size can be deceiving, the box holds a lot , it's tall deep and wide. They are perfect for me.

Kinda why they are growing on me. I'm 6'6" tall, so the height of a 777 doesn't scare me.

not my favorite color but the price was right and my kra was full. Crazy how much more room this toolbox has. I have empty drawers, which is more than likely bad for my wallet lol.

Carbon guards are on the way, that should break up the color a bit.

They made the KRL777 series at least up to 2001/2002. I'm interested in a KRL777PM. I asked my local Snappy franchise trucker to inquire if they would make one again. He said no. I'd bet they'll make a small batch if pushed/pressed enough to do it. Interested?

That is a beautiful box right there. We have one at my school, first years kids were moving and AND tipped it over. Destroyed such a beautiful box.

I don't think it will be made again, it is dyeing segment twofolds, top boxes and single banks. A 777 was basically a 756 and matching top welded together.

My Waterloo my dad gave me back in jr high. We had to fix a couple of rust spots inside with sheet metal, but it works great, and means a lot. I'll give it to my kid when they're old enough.



My main box the wife got me for Christmas after we bought our house. It's a Husky, and had worked great for me.



Both are down in my basement in the "man cave"/workshop

Posted my box awhile ago, and drawer pics were requested. Well, here they are minus a personal drawer, nut/bolt drawer, and a misc spare parts drawer:

The box. 174" of Awesome.

Main workcenter. 24" flat screen monitor. Powerful-ish laptop. Wireless keyboard/mouse. Lots of Vaping supplies. Magnetic can & bottle coozies (anything after 5pm the beer comes out). Various streamlights/chargers. Bungees, tape, etc...

Secondary work center. Electrical haven. All the terminals one could ever ask for. Heat shrinkable **** connectors by the 100's. Bulk wire. And, apparently, tool wipes, paper towels, bicycle helmet, and hot sauce today.

Overhead. *Going* to be my library. Haven't got it all setup yet. Mostly used for spare connector and wheel lock key storage at the moment, with a few books and spare parts.

Locker. There's alot more tools in here than appears, seriously. But, it's largely **** that doesn't fit anywhere else. And, alot of spare parts. And chemicals. And, stuff.

Ahh, powerbank. Self explanatory.

Money drawer. Yeah, name a socket/ratchet/extension I don't have. I dare you to try.

Yup. Same challenge with wrenches.

Hell, why not pliers too. (I also bought the 16" Knipex pliers after this pic today and had to rearrange the whole drawer)

Buncha plusses and minuses in here. I need to get more organization in here.

Another money drawer. I don't care what anyone says, Dewalt reigns supreme in power drivers.

Kind of a catch all. Compression testers, leak down testers, air hammer attachments, ATF filler adapters, tubing tools, etc...

I call this my transmission drawer. Slide hammers, pullers of all different kinds, hot plate, etc...

Yes. Knipex snap ring pliers are so good they deserve their own drawer. If you disagree, you've never used a pair, I guaran-*******-tee it.

Timing drawer. I do VW/Audi (only!), and this drawer handles all.

Airlift! (must have). Pressure tester kit. And, a bunch of brake tools that really don't get used.

This is right below the electrical workcenter, and it's really just more electrical ****. I know most don't, but I LOVE electrical work.

I don't use this drawer much, but it's basically **** that doesn't fit anywhere else.

SPECIAL TOOL DRAWER! I mean, special tools that don't really work in other drawers.

Umm...prybars, wire brushes, putty knives, and a toothbrush?

Hammahs and chizzles

Yeah. Just basic stuff that really doesn't get used. Except the picks. Who doesn't love a good selection of picks?

Snap on tap&die and master fuel pressure sets. I'm probably still paying for both somewhere/somehow. And, a homemade boost pressure tester thrown in for good measure.

This drawer is all kinds of stupid. Really. Chinese fingers, a hacksaw, a vacuum pump, blow gun, and a sticker? Yeah. This drawer doesn't make sense. Sorry.

And this drawer. Yeah, it's really just spare wire with VAG connector terminals. BUT. BUT! That matco hydraulic flaring tool. OMG. Yes. It IS badass. I don't care if you flare one brake line a year. This tool is life-altering.

I may not have the biggest/best box, but I can guarantee there ain't a tool in the world that might make my job easier/faster/better that I don't have.

To the left of the tech-wrench in the back of the drawer, above the blue point set. Blue handle. Double sided. Handles all OEM front struts as well as any aftermarket bilstein/koni/whatever. Hollow through so you can hold the strut in place as you tighten it down. C'mon, you gotta do better than that. (again, keep in mind, I ONLY do VW/Audi)

• If there is the will, there is the way...

• No need to spend the big dollars on a new KRL756 when used and promo KRL double banks are plentiful and very 'reasonable' prices. So that makes marketing the KRL777 feasible again in today's Snappy offerings.

I bought a matching C-Man bottom box for my stack and retired the cart they were resting on to a service cart.

Honestly, at full price, no. If I could pick up a good used one at $1500 to $2000 range I might think about it.

But I think it's going to be a moot point. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be living out of a motel in Eastern Montana for the next year or better.

Just curious about what you said about Dewalts drivers. Have you ever used Milwaukee?
I have had dewalts stuff old and new items that I get just cause I am a tool nut. I try a lot of stuff out and then give what I don't like to family and close friend.
Just wanted to know if you have tried other driver/impact makers.
No disrespect or harm just asking.
Me personally Dewalt vs Milwaukee is pretty much Apples and oranges

I'm leaving open all options on the sourcing aspect of an acquisistion. I'm not in a hurry to replace the CMAN.

The HD 95th anniversary edition is not an option. It will leak oil, loose/drop hardware if rolled around, weigh too much, handle poorly if rolled about, etc...

LOL. I'm posting pictures of my 40K toolbox on the internet in a "look at me" thread. You're lucky I'm not posting pics of my house, jet boat, and show cars too. Seriously, when I started wrenching I dreamed of one of them couple hundred piece craftsman sets that was like $150 and really thought I'd have all the tools I'd ever need if I could just afford that. I've grown quite picky and proud in the last 25 years.

Yeah, I still have/use the milwaukee 1/4" and 3/8" drive cordless ratchets. Nothing against them at all, but the Dewalts always had what I wanted at a great price. And, I have a Dewalt service center minutes from me, and I've never had an issue warrantying anything.
