whoever rigged that flatbed deserves couple cases of cold ones.

I had the boxes all rigged up at the shop, including the wood braces. (incase I needed to winch it again) He dropped the deck down, we rolled them up and wrapped the straps around them.

They couldn't believe how well I had the boxes rigged up for the commute.

My kra2422 that's about to be upgraded. It's way overloaded. My cornwell box that's about to be traded in with the snappy. The 90th harley that is now at home since I got a service truck. I'm a heavy diesel tech that works on everything from Caterpillar. to Driptroit diesel. I'm more than ready to have a box everything fits into.

Diesel mechanics are guys who don't b.s. around. They don't have the time for it. I'm always impressed at the tool selections in boxes of diesel Techs.

Wow! go away from a thread for few days and ...WOW!

I'm not being dramatic. The "conversation" doesn't belong in a thread called "lets see your tool box".

Right! As much as I could get involded in answering the question as to why have a big truck brand box -- this ain't the thread for much of that.....

That's what I was searching for. Good answer.

I was thinking, not being a jerk at all, just that you need to spend a little more time in a working shop and you will understand more. It's NOT nearly as much pretentiousness as the truck box bashers would have you believe....

whoever rigged that flatbed deserves couple cases of cold ones.
x2:thumbup: Both the the box preparation and the tie down on the roll back -- good mechanic with some smarts to prep up that way and the truck must be operated by someone better than you average automotive tow truck guy....I have seen some scary tool box move that make you wonder how nothing got damaged.....

Picked up a tiny little Kennedy stack. Top box is 220R, bottom box is 2005R. Flimsier than I expected, but should function. I'm in the market for a lathe, I figure I'll keep lathe-specific tooling in the bottom box, and set up the top as a "grab and go" general purpose tool kit.

Behind it is the 41" Homak set from Northern Tool.

If you have build pics of that Hutch, I'd liketo see how you did it. I'm considering the build myself.

Hello everyone! Been a while since I posted anything, so I figured a toolbox post was needed! I have completely outgrown my current box and am starting the search. Will is be a infamous HF 44" or possible a Homak Pro Series 41"... Not sure.
