Man, I wish I could find a deal like that around here (and when I have the money would be good as well). CL around here is a joke.

I just scored these two Craftsman roll arounds from Craigslist for $35 each on this week.

Neither had been used as tool boxes, they were using them as dressers in a bedroom! No keys, but who cares for that price.

The shorter one now makes three that height I will gang together and use under an oak top as a bench.

The taller one is navy blue - all my tool boxes are red/black but this one is in SUCH good condition I almost hate to consider painting it. Maybe I should paint my oldest Craftsman top box any blue to match?! (Does anyone know if there is a spray can out there in the matching blue?)

I was just about to ask the same question! I have been wanting one for a while now ...

Danke !

Hopefully i'll have mine next week so keep an eye on the new tools thread. Rep wasn't sure of a price but reckoned it'd be about 70 or 80 bucks. Looks very much like a Facom ratchet!

Max, I like you box and the tools you're using.

You don't have to apologize for your English, most of the Americans here can't speak English either!

Had my KRL7022 since '09 when I sold off my KRL1003 to downsize and buy a compressor..Well the time finally came that I wanted a big box again, and I worked out a trade for my box and some cash on my end for a KRL1032..So nice to have all of my tools back in one box again instead of 2 in 2 different spots in the garage..

Max I love your set up. I've seen a few here on Garage Journal, but none so full of tools as yours. Very nice set up.

Oh, and welcome to Garage a Journal. I hope,to hear more about your tools and experiences.

There seems to be 2 different drawer layouts of the KRL1032's. The ones on the current Snap On site look like the silver one but the Candy Apple red one is also a 1032.

Can a new 1032 still be ordered with the drawer configuration of the red one?

I posted this box elsewhere but not in this thread. Got it last week at a garage sale and I am using it for all my lock rekeying tools and parts.
Top tray - hammer, calipers, various sprays, lock pick sets, etc

Plug followers and tweezers, key gauges

Interchangeable core tools, allen wrenches, snap ring pliers, etc

Screwdrivers, clip removal tools

Extra pins for my pin kit

Pins, springs, tailpieces, misc parts, plug holders, locks I am in the middle of working on

I believe there are a couple different drawer layouts. Same for the 7000 series. As always you can get double or triple bank.

I'd say that any decent dealer will spec out the drawer layout you want for ANY box that has interchangeable configurations. Especially on a bigger unit - more dollars involved = more incentive for the dealer to make it the way you want it.
