How was your 44" when you picked it up? I ask caus mine was ****.Some drawers didn't role good, detints were super tite, dents, bad drawer trim I took it back and the next one was fine-also newer box(has the new lock)

The top was fine and new in the box. I got the bottom during a sidewalk sale. It has a dent on the front close the the lock but noting major. the drawers and trim are fine the detints are tight but that does not bother me all that much. I like the box. For what I have in it I am not complaining. Top was the usual HF s ale price and I got the bottom for 200.00.

If it was a box tat was going to be rolling around I think I would either build an angle iron frame with heavier wheels or save for a MAC or Snap On. This is for home and won't be rolling around.

Hello just joined the forum. Been around cars all my life dad was a master tech at subaru.

First boxes were Craftsmans

But I started running out if room. So I was on the search for a new box. Was going to order one from Matco but didn't want to spend $500 for shipping plus the $2000 for the box. So I started looking on local forsale sites and found this beauty for a price you can only dream of. The man was moving and couldn't take the box with him. He bought it brand new he said around $6,800+. He never really never really used it just sat in his garage . Didn't even have a scratch on it. Inside and untouched came with a Snap-on solid wood topper.

Some of my tools. I may not have the fullest box but I only buy the tool I need. I can't stand seeing boxes filled and 90% of the tool arnt even used. I find that a waste on money. I Only buy what I need. If you have any question please ask. I know it's not anything special but it works for me and that's what counts. Thank you for looking :)

NOT mine..

I saw this cool box at a job site yesterday. I think it belongs to a carpenter, maybe the wood flooring guy.

Very nice. Looks like a garden cart like this is a good starting point for such a project.

Hello, I'm new to this forum and relatively new to wrenching. I have been a mechanic for 4 years and am 25. I finally moved out of my HF flip top service cart which I had severely overstuffed. The new box isn't full yet but is surprisingly close considering what I moved out of. I skipped some drawers because of the picture limit and didn't figure yall would like a second post for a couple close to empty drawers and my deep drawer full of plastic boxes (pullers and testers and other kits) but this box here is my pride and joy and is almost a tourist attraction for our long time customers (I keep finding more and more green to match it, last update was a little gaudy, but I like the green neons) I hope yall enjoy it.

Well I can't back down from a challenge.

Pics will be up as soon as I have time to take more than one. I look forward to some good shots at my organization ;-)

Awesome man!! Glad to see there is other people out there doing a cheaper option. I made one for my old hf 56" box which I just got rid of. I picked up a used krl7002 which I'm doing some body work on now and plan on doing a custom SS top and front edge this comming weekend.

Man, that thing is heavy duty!

Thanks! It weighs somewhere around 350 lbs with the vise on it. I decided to go big or go home and I'm glad I did. I havent used it much yet but its sturdy enough that it wont budge when I strap something down in the vise or hammer away on the top.

My first roll cab. Snap-On KRA5319

My current roll cab. Snap On KRL722. Upgraded to the ISO-Ride casters and all the deep drawers have double slides. Best part is, it's all mine.

Them some mighty fine tools in them there Harbor Freight box. That's awesome. I love the fact that while organized, they're USED tools. Very nice.

Thanks,
I have some stuff from my dad in there, new, used, from the tool truck, flea market, frends in need of money- I don't care I love my tools and I use them.

I kinda miss my c-man box. But now I have room.

Nothing fancy or special, just a couple small boxes along with tools on shelves as well. I'm currently trying to decide between a nice large tool chest or building a 6'x12' tool room on the side of my shop....

Yeah, a box is portable, but it also eats floor space. I have all my work tools at work, and my home tools don't really need to be portable, my shop is only a 24x36. I want the box because I've never had a really cool box, but I think the 6x12 room would free up a lot of floor space in the shop by not just getting the tools in there, but also the other shop items like engine hoists, porta-power, engine stands, etc.

....like I said, I've been stressing this decision for a month now and still can't decide for sure what to do!! :)

I'm starting a new job Tuesday morning and moving my tools to my job tomorrow.
I just picked up the top box today, had to upgrade from the old 26" Husky topper.

I've been working out of my home shop for years so not sure how I feel about moving all of my tools out.
