These are some older pics but still very similar drawer set up, just a lot of new additions of late.

I'm an industrial maintenance mechanic and don't need anywhere near as many tools as the auto mechs do. Company also provides many tools and gives us with large mobile cabinet/work stations. So basic hand tools is all you need to get by.

Here's my humble setup.

The company supplied you with that box? The decision maker on that one has good taste. :D Can you advise of the model of the bottom/top boxes?

Don't leave the mini-box in the sun if you can help it. I did with mine and it faded to a puke looking 1970s green in short order.

Thanks for the advice! I will make sure it is out of the sun light.

Here is a couple of the drawers in the mini chest. I use the top to hold the contents of my pants pockets, so that is always changing. The rest are pretty self explanatory.

Hell, if we're sharing mini boxes...

And yeah, that's a TL936 pen in the top. Not the most ergonomic of writing utensils.

Very nice...and you are a pens fan so that makes it even better!

Somebody start a mini box thread showing off drawers please!

Hot dang. Does that thing have its own zip code? We gotta seen the inside now. Nice "investment", btw. :rocker:

I posted all the drawer pics in this thread earlier.

Here's a couple.

Top drawer, sockets, ratchets, extensions.

Wrench drawer

Impacts, air ratchets, air saws, 18 volt impacts.

I have added tools to the drawers in these pics since they were taken.

It's a crazy box, people take pictures of it, ask how much it was and their jaws drop.......

and you say that will pay for one drawer:eyecrazy:

It get's to be a bit :eyecrazy: I have aprox. $5,500 in the top drawer of my box alone... That's not even that much compared to what I see some guys on here have.

For along time I ran the same tool box 15 years, I know my tool box does not make me any money, but it does help you to not loose money, if you can't see that you have all your tools back in the box and you let the vehicle go most of the time you will not get that tool back. It bugs me when my set is not complete. 30 plus years of collecting tools and every tool has a story.

Got this off craigslist. He was asking 75$ all I had on me was 66$ he took it. I got it home and cleaned and waxed it. I'm happy with it. Not perfect but will more than suit my needs.

I've actually been planning to buy the black version of that exact box

Started switching over to rails from Hansen trays and reorganized so I could cram the rest of my sockets in the top drawer.

You're in diesel. What's with the 8pt sockets?
I've only seen it in railroad work.
