I finally get to add mine here:thumbup:

Hey guys, first post so I figured this was the place. This thread is great, a lot of tool envy going on here! I am not a professional mechanic, just a hobby of mine. This is my box at home. Just got it to replace my old Craftsman stack that I had long outgrown. I have champagne tastes and a beer budget, so I look for deals and scoop them up when I can. Bought this from a retiring mechanic. Snap On KRL1001.

I don't have pictures of all of the drawers, but I will grab some later. I love USA tools, but hard to justify the cost of some of them for a casual wrench like me. I recently picked up the gearwrench sets in this picture and I am happy with the quality vs price. This is my top drawer.

Keep the pictures coming!

I like your drawer of big sockets and wrenches!

Been working on that for a while now. Surprisingly I have less than $200 spent in that drawer and there are a lot of quality tools in there, even some snappy sockets.

Cool.... I work for Altec at their Elizabethtown, Ky facility. I really like it there.

I worked at the Birmingham Al plant for about 4 years as a custom body builder (I built the sides and sometimes the floors for the utility beds)

I am currently on my third box.

Heres my first one

And then upgraded to this...

After owning it a several months, I got tired of the terrible interest rate and got burnt by the Snap On guy so I got rid of it and went back to this.

A short while after that, I was really needing more space. Just so happened that the Cornwell guy had a freshly repo'd box on his truck. Some dude barely used it and stopped paying on it. After starting at it for a couple months on the truck, I decided to go for it. I got it half off with the hutch and all. I sold the orange box to another guy at the shop.

mmmm my favorite ratchet

I love these wrenches

I.... really havent figured this drawer out yet.

Various punches and files

Random stuff

Brake tools, tap and die sets, and other various things.

about 1/3 of my detailing stuff. Most of it sits a home

and my modified HF cart I use for detailing.

Thanks for viewing.

Very nice tools but why are you wearing gloves?

LOL I just got done folding a ton of microfiber towels and to be honest, I hate the way the catch on the rough parts of my skin. I just forgot to take them off.

nice setup dirtywerx interested in what line of work you do with so much detailing product

Thanks! I detail a lot over the weekends when I'm off work for some side cash. Sometimes I detail through the shop Monday - Friday but that's rare.. I work in an import shop that specializes in Saab, Subaru, and Volvo. Rarely will a Saab or Volvo owner want their car detailed after spending a ton of money getting the turd fixed.

As with tools; do I have more than I need? Yes. Will that stop me from getting more? Not at all.

Impressive DirtyWeRX! I really like that orange one. Got a model number on that little guy?

Yeah! CTBMM700RG

Really like Cornwell's tools

The cornwell guy has been the one who has helped me put the most at the shop. He let me out that orange cart on a truck account within 2 months of working at this shop. He didn't really know who I was but went out on a limb and got me off to a good start for getting tools.

Awesome box DirtyWeRX! Where did you get those led lights for your hutch?

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B8BQX9W/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Not gonna lie, they are kinda cheap, but it's only $20. A section of my light strip stopped working about two weeks after I got it. I messaged them on amazon and they sent out a new strip for free. I fixed the old strip and connected the new strip as well, and now i have plent of light. You'll also need to get some 3m double sided tape as the adhesive on the light strip *****

Seth?

I'VE BEEN SPOTTED! That's me! Was it the detailing stuff that gave it away? Ooor the name dirtywerx that I used on the detailing forums lol

That's one of those brand specific screw on oil funnels. The funnel is threaded for Honda and most Nissan vehicles, but also has an adaptor for Subaru. Pretty handy.

That's quite the amount of detailing product

ah shoot, I need to find the picture of everything I had in my garage before I brought some to the shop. It usually throws people off thinking I have Walmart's Car Care aisle at my house

I think I can do that. It's not 100 degrees with 85% humidity so I won't look like a sweaty fat guy. Just fat

Why do you regret the KRA2007 purchase?

Picked up this stack today for the $70 dollars it cost me for fuel to drive there. Bottom is a hf44 top is a remline that I would swear comes from the same factory as the hf.
