Thats too bad! Matco and snappy both make great boxes, but snappy has the better name. This box im going to post again, in full size, I am digging this purple so much. Its such a nice color, maybe its just a phase im going through but as of right now if I got a new one it would look exactly like this box without the top chest.

Wagzilla what color Snappy box did you end up with since they would do purp? Still miss purp or were you getting sick of it? Why sell, space upgrades?

Not in the trades. Basically just stuff around the house and on the boat. Basic Craftsman boxes. Hand tools are about 60% Craftsman and 40% Snap-On. I don't really need Snap-On but I like having nice things and that includes tools. I am gradually replacing the CM with SO. I pretty well set on SAE and don't have much call for metric but I did just buy myself a set of SO metric combo wrenches for Christmas.

Last of the pictures. The rest of the drawers and a 56" HF box are full of tackle and boat hardware / spare parts.

Well, after browsing and reading here, I decided to check CL before buying a less well known brand new. Picked up this earlier this week. It is a KERN602B. I think I did pretty well. Only drawback is that it was in a body shop, so it is FILTHY (this picture is a bit misleading). Mostly just dust from sanding, but there is a little overspray.

I'm in Knoxville also, and wish I had seen that ad!

Matt if yo don't mind my asking, how much time does that collection represent?

I'm 30, I started with a craftsman cart 14 years ago. I still have it, my creeper is leaning on it in the corner of the picture of the box. Bought my first snap on tools at 19, the red handled pry bars. It snowballed from there :lol_hitti Every tool pictured is payed for, except for one wrench set I just bought.

I have been needing some additional storage at the shop, but didn't want to spend a ton of money. I decided to keep an eye out for the Craftsman heavy duty boxes when they went on sale. Finally finished my set. I picked up the bottom on sale for $119 as an in store special, the top box cost me $79 because the manager made me a deal after the first one I bought for $109 was out of square. I got the mid box for free by bartering with a guy that needed the headlights on his and his wife's two Camrys polished out.

Not bad for $198 and 30 minutes of work total.

Took my end of year inventory.

grrrrrrr.......Inventory......it's cool to get pics of your stuff, (your set up is great BTW  ) but I have been tasked with doing a picture inventory of the ENTIRE shop for the year end insurance review - 4 boxes and all shop equipment. We're not a big shop, but still just another PITA little task I hate when there's stuff needing done......

The Bottom Cabinet is customized with two medium drawers to replace one of the deep drawers. It turns out that while it is possible to get replacement drawers from Harbor Freight, it takes about a year, and they might be used. Oh well, they cleaned up nicely and I was able to hammer out the bent corner.

The last two drawers here are not really sorted yet.

What are the socket trays in the socket drawer along the left sides? They look really efficient

Looks nice with the blue wall color background. Might not be good for getting the max lighting effect in the shop, yet still makes the shop look happy.

Some years ago, I took a few weekends to record every special tool in my dealers inventory. They had been open since 1929. I think I still have some of that dust in my nose :lol_hitti

Got some money ******* in that GTA? Looks nice any engine pic,s?

Its naked under the hood right now. Pulled the old engine out, took on the task of playing crewchief on a friends car this summer so my plans got put on the back burner.

burnsy86,

Who makes the long reach pliers with the blue handle? By the way I love the box. Its a nice setup with three full length drawers.
