Some of the ideas here for moving tools from one organization unit into another is just purely inspirational! I'm a tad too lazy to keep refurbishing my garage every other week though, so I'll just be content to look through the pictures and advice here and drool over some of the beautiful work. Haha! I could really just scroll this thread forever.

Impossible, Hondas dont break  You can tell the new techs easily though, No SAE tools, alot of the guys in the local GM dealer have the larger tools supplied by the dealer so 2/3 of the new techs work out of large carts,

That's pretty cool tho. Why have 2 systems? I guess all the imports are like this now?

My new International 56" tool box arrived this afternoon, first impression are pretty good. The box is better then any of the big box stores boxes that you can buy up here. Having the 22" deep drawers are a huge step forward in storage capacity then my old boxes 16" deep drawers. The casters on the box aren't the greatest but they will be fine for me since i never move my tool boxes. I was going to go to Buffalo to pickup a 56" HF box but with the ****** exchange rate now it wouldn't make sense to go across the border. I also ordered a 7 drawer side box so i can put it into the welding table that iIm going to be building. The side box has friction slides but they are smoother then Home Depots Huskys ball bearing slides.

f150skidoo: very nice! It's great to see some of the Canadian made brands displayed here and get the owner's reviews.
Twenty two inch deep drawers sound fantastic. I like the drawer configuration, especially the full width drawer and the very shallow ones. That's a great combination.

Nice Cobra in the background and on the walls too. :)

How do you like that sidebox? I've been looking online a lot of places trying to find one for my box. Ive seen some international ball bearing slide ones at Princess Auto in Ontario, but they've all been a few inches too tall to fit on my box. That friction slide one would be a perfect fit, but I wasn't sure if I'd hate the sides or not.

Well the friction slides are a lot better then i thought they would be. The friction slides are comparable to cheap ball bearing tool boxes for slide smoothness. Actually I like the side box enough that i just ordered another side box a couple minutes ago so i will have two boxes in my upcoming welding bench build. I see your from Montreal why don't you go for a little drive one day to Drummondville and check out the side box in person at International HQ

I have an 8 drawer friction slide International sidebox. It seems to have the same design slides as my 20 year old Beach made Craftsman. But the drawers in the Craftsman boxes are nice and smooth, the International feel so bad, I hate opening them. I've even filed and sanded all the rough edges and lubed them up, it still feels like they're full of sand.

You only need 5 sockets and 4 wrenches to work on Hondas lol...I get asked a lot why I have standard sockets. In my younger days of being a biddy guy I did a ton of restoration work, on those "antiques" that used standard sizes, like muscle cars lol

Howdy everyone. Thought it was time that I could contribute to this thread. I'm in the process of moving right now, old box was a HF 44. New is a stack Kennedy 8 drawer on the bottom and Williams Road chest on top. Hopefully keep some dust out of my tools with the drop down lid.

Hi everyone. First time caller. I recently got a good deal on an older Mac rollaway to replace my previous tool storage, cardboard boxes:

274190695c841ae56f7ab3898e631ba4.jpg

I have had many of my tools in storage over the last few years while I was getting married and buying a house. I had sold my old Craftsman toolboxes while I was a mechanic because I was borrowing a large box from my boss and only had my construction tools at home during the time. Anyway, I was laid off in 2013 and ended up changing careers to Audiovisual. We bought a house last year with a proper two car garage, so I told my wife I wanted to get a roll cab again, and I eventually found this for $500.

Now, since I had everything in boxes, getting it sorted into drawers has been a challenge, especially since I have tools for about four complete trades that I have worked at one point or another (electrical, plumbing, auto tech, and bicycle repair).

The first order of business was to reconfigure the drawers to better fit my needs. I moved a deep drawer to the top position on both sides for my sockets and air tools.

Now, it looks like this:

e2e076d04cf5099cd11f1dd67a4e134c.jpg

More to come on the actual tools later, but while I was changing things up, I made a discovery inside the bottom sitting discretely under the bottom drawer:
