Long time lurker. Love the thread. I'm retired now and moving some stuff around including myself. This is the old stuff.

Liking how you arranged your drawers lowpro64. What brand cart is that, I like it.

A few updated drawers as I unpack my tools and move some over from my current Craftsman box.

If anything this site has made me appreciate higher quality tools. Ever since joining 3 years back I try to buy high quality hand tools. I still have the usual chinese and slightly better taiwanese made tools which make me feel less bummed about if I beat them up.

Lowpro's blue and red cart, individual locking drawers a bit unusual, never seen that. Also like the transmission on the floor. Looks like he didn't have tome to take out the drive shaft and just sawzalled it. The black cart maybe a Matco? Wondering why the top compartment, like the HF cart, is too shallow for large handled screwdrivers, etc.

30mm dowel with 3/8 thick slats, I get scrap hardwood from a carpenter friend of mine so the slats were pre cut, just need a few more slats no to fill it out, I left the snap on pliers in the tray because I use them all the time

Trans is a Rossler 400, and yoke installed is to keep fluid from running out. Of course there was no fluid in it. Lol. I bought the drawer seperate. The cart come with a locking lid and drawer. I added the other drawer. Screw drivers fit the Matco cart just fine. That is a 48" pry bar that is sticking up. I would put it down under when I lock up at night.

I did the same on the race car I worked on when switching rear ends or transmissions.

Thanks, most is all mastercraft maximum, craftsman, some channelock, and some cheaper stuff from princess auto, that weird maxtech wrench set which I still have not touched lol have some more on the way this week and next week, mostly tekton and channellock,... Bottom 2 drawers are mostly junk drawers for electrical like wire, test light, meter, connectors, taps etc... Bottom I use it for a the bigger stuff like my big ratchet 3/4 or 1 inch not sure and other things... Need to organize a bit more though

You don't have a wife/gf in that house, do you? I would love it if I could put a toolbox inside the house. [emoji38]_hitti
Ah no, I'm turning 20 [emoji14] so I still live with my parents until this summer and I'm moving to finish a major at another college.

I had to assemble it so I did it in the A/C!! But I do keep 2-2Drawer in my room!

It's pretty normal In my family to walk in and see a fishing pole, half assembled tree stand, camping gear, cooler, etc...sitting in the middle of the floor!

My mother and sister are the only ladies in the house, they don't care as long as they have control of their closets!!

Thanks guys! I didn't show the other 6 drawers that aren't done yet lol. I like to be organized. It helps to be able to tell at a glance if something is missing by either me leaving something in a car or a co-worker borrowing a tool without permission.

You have to be a 12v tech. No other reason to have test dvds. Fellow 12v guy here. Just more mobile now. I had a similar box but in red. Nice organization too . Also no other reason to have a test speaker lol. I do mostly road work and mostly remote starts.now.

Thanks! I am the manager of a 12v store so I don't actually use my tools much for work but I have them if I need them. I just like tools. Anytime I do anything mechanical wise on my own cars I do it at work. The test speaker is a give away but I also have a tone generator and a cassette tape just in case lol.
