yeah I don't really get what they are for. I cant see a situation where those would be usefull over a deep offset wrench or even a ratchet. I guess maybe pulling the nuts off of really long bolts, but my regular combo wrenches have always worked for that and they ratchet.

Yes i have to agree

Toptul make them also, honestly I don't use them much especially since they don't have the hole through them, but they have a sentimental value to me and I like that my grandfather has his place in my box if you get what I mean

Anyone know where to find those L-shaped socket wrench sets like Merbie has?

Don't know of any US retailers, but Gedore also has that style of wrenches. 25 PK they are called.

Hazet also has them, they're called 435. I think you can find that style with most big european brands. Bahco and KS-tools at least also.

I have to agree with the criticism though, I have a set and they're never used. Regular offset wrenches or sockets do the job better.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. There are several tools in my box that make me smile like that.

My friend is the garage director at a Kubota dealer and asked me to help him out. So here's couple of the Mac boxes/cart.

I just cleaned up the inside of the drawers and put new linings in them, the were in good condition and I didn't feel like sanding them up. I'm gonna need to paint the logos black, polish the raised parts and throw a clear coat over it

Got some Ernst low profile wrench racks today. In my shallow drawer on my KRL722. So far so good. It takes up quite a bit of space but I have no problems height wise.

My new to me 722
Just ordered the 3 pc polished draw front set, and the drawer pull covers. I may highlight the fronts with orange vinyl some how and build a maple wood top. This can be addicting, but gotta have more bling with the black.

Sunsation, I love the top with pictures. I made a bar in college where I put a piece of black vinyl on the top framed that with small trim and had a piece of glass cut to sit inside the frame. As we had parties and get togethers we would take pictures and put them under the glass. It was awesome to see the good times at the end of the year.

Sun, I've had that exact same set up for a looooong time. No complaints here as it served me well without issue until I out grew it.

Here's my main box a Snap-On KRA-53B made in 78' it was my Dad's box and he gave it to me. The only other boxes I got are a few hand box's and a tray but all that's in them is some odds and ends.

Top--sockets, ratchets, etc. I'm getting some new sockets in the mail to fill up the empty spots in my sets and get metric.
