Pretty nice, you should put some spacers between the wheels and the box on the smaller box so they will set level with each other.

My second cornwell box
I commented on this in the tool arrivals thread. I almost bought that exact set up a few years back. Wish i did still. The newer Cornwell boxes are awesome. The drawer pulls /latching system is the best out there. And they are huge. 30" deep on the upper level boxes and those always come with ths stainless top. I also like the way the hutch opens. Much more head room. You dont have to duck to do any work at your box . Nice box and great choice.

That is awesome. About the only tools I have never owned is Cornwell. I have never had a dealer. From what I have seen on here their stuff looks very appealing.

My neighbor had a bunch from the 4 wheel jamboree in lima
Most come from career days at UNOH when the big companies come in three times a year from Cummins to crown lift trucks and hvac companies

I actually went to school for two years while in high school just for dirtbikes, 4wheelers, and motorcycles.
Set up a beautiful chopper with new longer full chrome forks while there, may have to find a picture
Once home it will possibly be my dirt bike box

Tail lights remind me of the 72 I used to have. ...but that had chrome down the side. So it might be a little newer than that.

It's definitely 73-87 and factory two tone would have had trim.

Actually, looking a little closer at it, the tailgate (if original) should be 73-76 I'm pretty sure they nixed the center embossed logo by 77.

Its a 70's because the front side markers are vertical. Front end shot will get a better year range. Have had many of these trucks through the years.

Judging by the emblems on the fender its early to mid 70's. Ive see. Tons of gmc's with out fuel doors. Fuel fillers are in the wheel well.

It's impossible to discern from that photo as there's no year specific feature giving it away. It's definitely a 74-80 and the front grille and/or interior door panels would be the easiest way to narrow down the actual year if they were original.

72 is the body style before with single bar grill and smooth sides
Late 72 (73 in production years) begins the rounded style pickups

Get some ernst or snap on wrench organizers. You should be able to consolidate your wrenches down and open up some space (to buy more tools!). Also some of those plier organizer racks. May only open up a little space, but will keep them from being piled up on top of each other

I've been meaning to, the drawers aren't tall enough to stand up all the wrenches though. One thing I was thinking of was making my own "trays" and store all the like sizes together (ie all the variations of 3/4" together) since I'm working with the layered method in other drawers anyway.

I LOVE that era of Craftsman Tool boxes. Looks good! My original thought was you should refurbish it, but the more I think about it, I would just leave it as is.

Thanks for the compliment. I planned on leaving it as is because the black paint rust spots are from where my granddad has it at work and a guy got pissed my granddad wouldn't let him borrow tools, so he dropped a load off the forklift on it. My granddad massaged it all back into place and put a little paint on it.
