Long time lurker. Here's my HF 44 with custom frame and "ape hanger" handle
Work industrial maintenance , floor is super bumpy and ******, replaced oem casters with 6x2 steel ones
Top has 1/8plate of aluminum, going to put plexiglass over that, also going mount a small craftsman box on top, scrounge an old Morgan vise and bolt it to the top

How often did you have to rotate the tires on your old box? :lol_hitti

Looks nice, very clean. What oil finish did you use?

Thank you.

I´ve used hard wax oil - high solid from Osmo. Ground it before and after oiling with 180 grid. I´m not shure if it keeps all other oil and grease away but I will see.

What is SO doing to make it right?

How are they going to fix it for you?

I love both boxes. What are the plans with your old one?

If I had to guess. they are sending the trim out so it can be swapped, or they offered him a gift card to make up for the error. Snap on will bend over backwards to make a customer happy

is it just the black trim they screwed up?

no the trim and drawer configuration are both wrong

I will talk to them tomorrow and see what they say, I am thinking that a 72" sound bar may make it a little better. lol

The sound bar is cool but I was disappointed with the volume. I have to tell myself though it's probably not really designed to fill a whole shop but just a work area.

Main box in the garage is a 56" Tool Vault Combo. The little Craftsman Roller was a clearance deal I got mainly to put the fridge on. It holds gloves, rags and misc. supplies, which is about as much as it was designed for even though it technically has roller bearing slides. The Mac cart was a Craigslist find too good to pass up, virtually new for under $500. It's mostly empty for now, I just load it up for projects if I'm working a ways from the main box. I'll focus on the main box. The top is pretty shallow but cordless tools on their sides fit fine. Starting with a few of the misc. drawers.

Moving to more misc. but somewhat organized tools and air tool drawer. Red cases are 1/2 impacts, hex impacts and torque wrenches.

Very nice setup, logical! Just from that, your garage appears to be very clean and well organized. Complete opposite of my garage!

Thank you, it's a mixture of clean/organized and piles of half finished projects and lawn equipment this time of year.

I forgot the 'pliers" drawer, the "bits and 1/4 impact" drawer and while I'm at it two older Craftsman Rally boxes I have on a lateral file cabinet for basic tools in the basement workshop.

Your box is like mine...a mix of everything. Craftsman, Gearwrench, Wiha, etc, etc. A few HF mixed in there. I have no brand loyalty, but I have become fond of the Gearwrench tools for their quality vs cost. Trying to add some more Mac. Just bought some Proto professional impacts. So a real mix.

I saw some organizing trays in there. You should check out the ones at HF, they are very nice and cheap on sale.

A few of mine are the HF ones and I agree they are nice for the money. I think the drawer with all the hex, torx and nut drivers uses one and the utility drawer in the first post has pens, markers, safety glasses etc in one.

Weird, mine fills three bays and you can plainly hear it across the street in a busy area. Not a ton of bass but it's clean. It'd for sure sound better and be more affordable to use a traditional bluetooth soundbar and sub but I like the novelty and looks of the snap-on one.

Don't get me wrong it's a nice unit. If I didn't get it free would I buy one? Nope. When you consider size, weight, and price if you were to purchase one you kinda go in expecting it to blow you away. I do like the plugs on it as well and now have my battery chargers on my tool box.

After flipping thru 800 pages of tool boxes i guess i should put mine up. Im just a dirt bike mechanic so most of my stuff is smaller and metric.

I have been WELL overdue for an upgrade in storage. I had bought a HF 44" a year back, but I just couldn't get it organized right, and was in between jobs for a while so I sold it. Also sold my 4 drawer cart due to the limited space at the shop, so I've been working out of my trusty but overflowing 26" CM with a MAC cab and Sunex prybar holder.
IMG_1095_zpsogid6dqg.jpg

After looking daily for 6 months, I just picked up this Waterloo 41" for $250. The Snap-On top I bought 2+ years ago for $50 (but haven't had anything to put it on).

Hello all. I work in audio, both car and home. This is my work set up for car audio installations. My home audio tools are in bags and I have another rollaway for my at home tools. I use a Matco cart for my main box and the HF cart is for all my over flow tools. I have not included pictures of the inside of my HF cart as it is just a disorganized mess. Please excuse the "Charlies Angels" DVD. Its is used to test video systems and it was something my wife was throwing out lol.

The photos are taken in order from top to bottom. Let me know what you think.
