Well I didn't think I was going to get a new box right now, but I couldn't resist lol. My SO dealer had a bunch of boxes and needed to sell them, he gave me a pretty good deal on trading in my old box so I went for it.
I'm going from this:

KRL722 with a stainless top, yeah the drawers are purple, but I really don't care TBH lol :)

That's a 1022, that one is a lot bigger then a 722.

I have that same box...I love it except for the fact that it shows every finger print that touches it. But mine came with the sound bar and a stainless top.

you'd be surprised how much will fit in a 17ft uhaul. :shocking:

i moved all these, another 33" wide triple stack, my harley and clothes.

i really felt sorry for the brand new uhaul i rented, the rear springs were on the bump stops for 1200+ miles.

This was my brand new Matco JSC-750 box. I really liked a friends Cornwell box that's about the same in size except I do a lot of work on the laptop on the top open section of my box. Having the lower front lip on this box worked better for me.

So this is a pic of my box all soot covered after a truck fire pretty much destroyed our shop. Luckily I didn't have much damage. This Matco box will be replaced, I have a large kobalt box that's getting replaced and a couple small tools that were left out of my box that night. Most of the damage was spot damage so not too bad.

Another pic. This is exactly how I saw it for the first time after the fire. I was pretty relieved.

What the hell, haven't posted tool box pics in a while. With the job change, the 1022 and its tools came home. Behind that is the aisle of boxes. Little 520 Kennedy on the bench on a simple riser I made. Next is Pa's 1962 craftsman box. Next to that is a '63 rollabench with a 7 drawer SO side box. Across from the rollabench is a Kennedy 3 drawer roller. That one was kinda pain to get a good shot of.

To go along with my home box pics, one of my work box. Classic 60 bottom and a KRA 62c on top.

Love this setup. I really want a road box for the top of my Proto but it needs to be black :(

The KRA 62c is available in red, blue or black. The KRA 6200 can be had in many of the color SO offers.

I was hoping to buy used, and everyone seems to prefer red. Maybe I'll get lucky one of these days

The different color options have been out for a while now so there is always a chance. Otherwise a red road box looks good on a black bottom box. I had mine on my black 1022 for years. I posted that combo back on page 407. If I could quote myself in a way to the pictures would show up, I would, but no go for this techno dummy.

Most people don't like dark colors on a road box because the tools inside get hot when the box is in the bed of a pickup :shocking:

Really like that KRA62. I laughed at your Bobcat stickers.

Thanks Mike. Only having my phone to do anything on here, I'm lucky I can figure out the simplest of basic things. As for the Bobcat badges, what eles would a Bobcat mechanic have on his box. The one on the bottom box is actually a metal cut out I painted and stuck on with two sided tape. You can't see it but the 62 has a tramp stamp. On the back is the biggest Case "Old Abe" emblem that would fit.

I'm late to the smart phone game, I only got one just over a year ago. I tried doing stuff with it, but it just frustrates me, so I don't do much other than read and write short replies to emails, as well as googling the occasional thing to settle an argument. It's just so much easier on a real computer.

Funnily enough, I dug up your pic, and noted the cats, I had no idea what they were from. On the way home from work today, I passed a pickup from a bobcat dealer, and lo and behold those emblems were on the truck! I then put 2 and 2 together and figured out why a guy with your screen neme would have those on his toolbox! Pretty smart huh? :lol_hitti Then I see you talking about them...
