well I ended up not going to get tools cause I found my hacksaw and it started to rain so I didn't get a chance to go to home depot for a 3 lb sledge like intended. I also wanted to get 2 organizers for my euro box for the top chest for nick nacks so they arent rolling all over the place, anyways here's what's in the Craftsman chest. Again sorry for the cheapo pics

the top portion of the euro tool chest I got for 1/2 price 399.99 instead of 699.99. The bottom portion I got for 849.99 instead of 999.99. I'll get the measurements tomorrow.
the advice I can give you is wait till they come on sale, no sense in paying full price. They do come on 1/2 price from time to time so keep an eye on that

Here is my new main box, KRL-7023APC. Haven't moved all my stuff into it yet, waiting to get done with a few other projects around the house. Someone on one of these message boards said: "Nothing says LOVE like KRL" ...and I have to agree. It was a "spouse-sanctioned aquisition" around my B-Day this year....

I don't know if you mounted the side handle on yet or not, but the best way is to run the screws in by themselves first with some air tool oil on them before mounting the handle on - that will loosen up the powder coating that gets sprayed in the thread inserts when they powder coat the box. If you don't do like I suggested, it will be very hard to screw the screws in dry.
PS. 3/16" Allen is the size.

Our 6.0L has 140,000 miles and has been great for the last 125,000. If the engineers would get together instead of everybody doing there own thing, the 6.0L could have been awsome. Diesels are meant to be daily workers, they have to have exercise to stay in shape.

Who sells the bright green wrench racks?
These are awesome.
Those are MAC (made by WrenchRack) but the color in the posted photo is quite deceiving. They are not really so bright a green, they are more of a kelly green in real life. The pink ones, (which are also MAC), it is the reverse....they are more vibrant fleurescent pink in real life. This error in colors is likely due to the fleurescent lighting in the garage.
WrenchRack makes these things for MAC , Snap-on and Matco, and the colors vary with each seller....but the product is really the same. Prices are probably the best from a vendor that does NOT put their own name on them; but you might not find hot pink.

I don't plan on moving out of this or upgrading beyond this for many, many years. It is certainly the biggest box that will fit in my current garage, and I still have lots of room to buy more tools...but not that much that I really need to add for the type of tinkering I do. Not to mention it is in near perfect condition, (now that I had the door of the locker repainted at a local bodyshop).
I've been through eight boxes (counting three top/bottom combos seperately, so my tools really got moved 4 times), in the last two years. Always buying used and upgrading, then selling the other boxes. The last three, including this one, I bought full of tools as well, (which all get sold on eBay.) If you have the cash to lay out up front, and you are willing to part out a collection of tools on eBay, (a box like this could take 150+ seperate auctions), you can own a box like this, or a lot of professional tools, for very little money. By far the best way to get tools or a great box, is to buy a complete collection of high end stuff, complete with box, then sell everything you don't want.

The black rally box on the corner of the workbench was my first toolbox. It was a christmas present from my parents when I was 12 or 13. The two red craftsman boxes are the same as in the next photo.
I bought the craftsman ball bearing bottom box when I was 19. The side cabinet came along right after I finished college. The two kennedy boxes were bought while I worked as a machinist in college. These boxes hold all my original craftsman hand tools, machinist tools, spare chucks and fixtures.
I quickly outgrew the craftsman boxes and got a good deal on this snap-on KRL762. It's almost completley full of snap-on hand tools.

The measurements I took are aprox but should be close to it I didnt take a measurement for the top area with the lid and I also didn't take a measurement for the work table section. The drawer measurements are listed below

NOOOO!! i know many ford Diesel technicians already left and got other job with better pay and steady works. i did asked them why they left ford dealership when 6.0L come out with new truck. they said 6.0L are P.O.S... also the factory of Powerstroke 6.0 almost pay very little for warranty or recall times to bill... they said it is not worth their time so they either quit or left to work for other diesel shops where some of trucks still use 7.3L powerstrokes.. they said 7.3L are best and last longer than 6.0L even they said they rather to work on 7.3L over 6.0L...
Right now i have ford diesel technician which is mine of friend, he do a lot of powerstroke engines works. he said he refused to work on 6.0L... oh well.. i never work on it before but what i see and told by other ford diesel technicians which they keep tell me to stay away as told me to stay with Cummin diesel which they said Cummins are best!!

So on page 93 I posted my pictures from photobucket. How is it that my pictures reached their bandwith limit from photobucket and others even on the same page that post with photobucket haven't.
I want to know where a speed shop sticker on Elroy's tool box cme from it says American speed center ( Augusta ,Ga. ) I lived in Augusta there was only one trafic light and the town wouldnt be there if it were not for Fort Stewart military base being there.

Well considering all the guys begging their bosses to get them D'maxes over 6.0s and 6.4s in the oil fields I would stay the hell away from them. Also just going by experience almost nobody I know who has a Ford work truck with a 6.0l or a 6.4 ever bought a personal truck with one, the 6.0L probably did more to encourage Dmax and Cummins sales than any advertising Chevy or Fiatpar ever did.
I wouldn't mind having about a 97-2000 7.3L if I could find one of the mythical few that doesn't shell Injectors , glow plugs and pumps at a regular basis.
BTW I have to see if I can find it but someone shot a picture of the Rock Springs Wyo Ford dealer with 10 Haliburton 1 ton Fords all in for 6.0L work so if you like working on them the oil patch definitely has an opening for you.

It's an 11HP electric start Honda GX340 on mine. I havent seen a 13HP model on the GX200 2+4 not to say it doesnt exist. Yeah I like that it doubles as a 4000W generator. money well spent IMO.

Your right,I had a brain fart,mine is an 11 as well.I have a 13 on my air compressor,confused the two.Hard to beat a honda as long as you remember to shut off the fuel when not in use.
