I'm a GM ASEP student starting my addiction! This thread sure didn't help! Haha so much great stuff on here! But this is my Harbor Freight 5 Drawer Cart with a little mix of everything! Just a basic set because I have to travel with my toolbox back and forth to school! I love this cart! Extremely jealous of everybody's set up! But I know my day will come!

Great career choice! As a former ASEP student myself I can tell you that you're in for a long and lucrative career. You're working for a company that has a very passionate view on technician training. You've only just started your brain busting training. You'll have plenty of time and decent cash flow to buy all the tools you want. Good luck!

Wow. What model is that box?

Its a KRL756 I believe, I bought it as a wreck then added the top which is Iroko from a old school science block with around 10 layers of deck varnish so i wouldn't have to re do it for a while :p

Its teal in colour too so very 80's with the dark wood and chrome :bounce:

You sir have a lot of tools in that box, how's it holding up? I'm quite impressed with my 50" Proto, it's not nearly as full though

Well, that kind goes with the job... :D It holds up just fine, I'd like to put spring loaded casters on it but I just haven't got that done yet.

Anyone have epiq drawer guards? I may steal the mat idea. I have a roll on the front half of my top with my computer and stuff on the back half

Little update. The lower big drawer woudnt lock on one side and I found the hook that is welded to the back of the drawer wasn't positioned correctly. I guess I never really noticed because Ive had the box for 8 years now. I realized I didn't need the tall drawer since all the wrenches will fit in the short one. So my Matco dealer hooked me up and I got 2 short drawers

WOW. For as small as it is, that's the most aesthetically pleasing tool box I've ever seen. The wood matches perfectly.

Thanks, I figured you were in aviation. Mind sharing some details on the "bought it as a wreck" part? Looks great now, very clean and the top goes fantastic with the main box. Is that your only box at work there?

Did some rearranging of my top drawer. The bulk of my sockets are on 12"x 12" magnetic panals. I added two 6" x12" to what I had to better organize my 1/2" impact swivels. This is the first try and I'm going to keep working on it as I'm wasting too much space.
