Those Indestro short offsets sealed in package are lovely and must be a rare find like that, would almost be a shame to use them.

My thoughts exactly, although I did poke one open and slipped a wrench out to try it. With the other wrenches I have I plan on keeping them unused.

That's crazy talk. Bust those ******* out and use them ya tool polisher.

And welcome, your set up is looking pretty cool. Now all we need is a couple more guys to quote your picture post and this page will only take 30 minutes to scan through. ;)

I have plenty of other tools that have been thoroughly used! I worked in a garage for a bit years ago.

It wasn't you I was poking fun at bud. We all dig seeing others tool collections, that's what the threads obviously all about. Problem is guys quote the same thing over and over and over again and it gets old as hell trying to wade through a gazillion pictures of the same thing.

Just saying.

Oh I knew what ya meant about quoting pics, I know on some forums that'll get you banned!
I was just saying in regards to those unopened wrenches I have plenty of other wrenches (ok only a few compared to some people here, lol) that I can use before needing to break those unopened ones out.

Very nice man congrats on your dream. Although I must say I don't see too many new boxes in yellow anymore.
Hope to see drawer shots soon

Hell yeah, nice box! I am loving mine but having a hard time deciding how to organize each drawer. It's a lot of room but it also fills up quick.

Are the extra wide 3 drawers on KRL series new for 2015/2016? What's the product # on the orange box. I've never seen that besides the epiq series.

It's hard for me to decide if I'd like the 3 extra wide drawers. I myself wouldn't even like 2.
What are you putting in the 3?
That's great tho that they are offering that.

Like the yellow, I recently got the same box in flat black with cranberry trim. I have had mine for about a month. Have had more boxes in life than I can remember and this is without a doubt the nicest box I have ever had. I have already ordered the top for it. The yellow looks great congrats!

I think it's a new series, there is no info out there on their site. It's officially not released yet. KTL 7023, it's still a Master Series.

I have sockets in the top, wrenches in the middle and then pliers and drivers in the bottom wide drawer. I'm still not to sure if I like the pliers/drivers there but it will do for now.

Yes, they just debut it at the snap on expo 2015 in August. I'll have to get the whole model number from work but it is a KTL7023

I wish my 68 Had the 3 drawers, top is sockets etc. 2nd wide I have is pliers. In racks. Wrench drawer is getting tight. I hate having more than one wrench drawer. I can't buy anymore wrenches without a bigger drawer.

Finally upgraded my box. Been working out of a 40" & 26" Craftsman for far too long. Couldn't justify a big $$$ box, though. I'm bringing one of my old 26" boxes to work, and filling it with old stuff and some doubles/triples I had. I'll get some more drawer pics later. Still waiting on a bunch of new Snap-on goodies. SAE ratchet wrenches, line wrenches, deep chrome 1/2 sockets, 3/8 and 1/2 impact sockets, hex and torx bits, striking pry bars, pick set, long screw drivers, and some specialty stuff.

Will do! For the money it really is a nice box. It was hard pulling the trigger on something like this without ever seeing one...but I'm happy with the decision.
That's exactly how I feel. I have an extreme toolboxes warehouse 30 minutes from home. So i got to first hand see the extreme brand boxes. They are the best bang for the buck I'd say. I can get the 72" extreme box triple bay for 1500 on a scratch and dent.

Bought my Montgomery Ward toolbox in 1978 when I opened a small engine shop. It's done me well but I ran out of room some time ago.
A new HF 44" is on my Christmas list.

Moved my box to my new job yesterday, was a little nervous about moving it, but it got there safe.

Same here, extreme let me into their Naperville warehouse to check out the boxes.
I bought the 56" set up for my home garage few years ago and it is awesome.

Vern--I know this is 'old news'--but just read your posts, and I have that same older Craftsman Bottom box , on the right as you do. The gray and red one. I want to say mine dates most likely early 70's or so--When my son was in high school, he got a part-time job @ Ford/New Holland dealership--and I let him 'borrow' it to use , help get him started. Later--he went to work for CAT, after graduation--and by then he outgrew it--so he brought it back to me, but had a bunch of 'dealer supplies' (ADHESIVES/OIL/GEAR ADDITIVES ETC.)-- stuck in all the drawers. I guess that paid his rent for several years.
:bounce:

Thanks for the memories!
