Very nice setup. Look forward to more photos once the Toolvault comes in.

Those ToolVault cabinets look great in the photos with their bright powder coat finishes. A 300 lb, 56" wide box including a stainless top for $1000 with free shipping is a pretty good value. I like to see these side by side with a Snap-on or Mac box to compare drawer action and build quality. SD

I fixed it.

To all concerned. No offence taken at all. It takes a whole heck of a lot more than a post on an internet forum to ruffle my feathers. haha

Actually all the "quoted" pictures don't bother me at all and I never really thought about it.

So now, thanks to G-ram and Bmack37, I do understand why it could be frustrating. I guess the only time it would be handy to see the pics again would be if the original post was far back enough that it would be hard to find the relevant pics. Maybe there is an easy way to do that.

I'll give myself a pat on the back and have a couple beers now.

Doh! now I see the "view post icon"

Try partitioning the drawers with metal dividers for a cleaner layout. I've got a lot of pictures but don't want to get myself or others in trouble...

Something like this.

or even something like this for car care and cleaning products....

and for case tool sets

Dang that is sweet. Is that your set up? If so, what company make those partitions.

Ult, why would you think that. We dig the **** out of set ups like yours and no doubt I speak for everyone, post away. That is ultra clean!! The biggest issue is guys quoting the same 20 pictures over n over n over again and on the same flipping page at that. Like another member pointed out, it's gotten to the point I don't even want to view a thread when it happens.

I've got hundreds of pictures from the past 15 years of doing this and now that I'm semi-retired from the garage design business, have no problem sharing them with others. I'd love to continue doing Lista installations but will need to get some young guys to come in and do the heavy lifting.

Tools very by profession. Here's "drawer full of glass" for photographers, paparazzi or astronomers...

Switching over to Ernst organizers, a work in progress, like how the 18" and 13" trays combine nicely in the HF 44 top drawer.

Nice set up, yeah currently i have a bunch of hansen socket racks. But all those sockets are on the top of the top box because of the weight capacity on the drawers. How do you like the HF box? b0f6ca053459ac4199ee15bf2f3ac4bd.jpg

Just traded my black classic 78 for this beauty. All my tools are on my service truck, so I don't need much storage space at work. I'll bring this one home and my old roll around to work. Gotta keep the white one clean...

What are the dimensions? This looks like the ticket for me, just wish it was stainless top like the krsc43. The flyer says 27" wide but it looks like a krsc326 with sliding top which should be about 32.5" wide.

Not a pro by any means, mainly DIY stuff and lot's of work on my Harley, so for my purposes I love the HF 44" box, tons of room and sturdy. would recommend it to anyone.

So here's the toolbox, I wish more people did video tours, I feel that you get more of a feel for the box and the person wielding the tools than you ever could with a series of pictures. Anyway, enjoy.

Agreed there chad, I just filmed one and put it up on the old youtube

Here's some custom Lista boxes I had built 15 years ago. 3 of the same at a Porsche dealership in the burgundy/grey Porsche colors. A Lista DW, MP and SC width wall cabinet with a butcher block top. Length was close to 8' and weight around 800 lbs empty. Custom frame base to support the 1500+ lb estimated weight when loaded with tools.

So clean, so simple looking, so strong.
 at the old CRT monitor, kinda dates the picture.

Those dimensions are correct. The drawers are 27" wide on the inside.

Picked up this 46" Beach box with 16" deep drawers yesterday. It has 23 drawers in total which is awesome! I am in the middle of cleaning it up and restoring it a bit, so far I am very happy with my purchase. A few dents and bent things but they will all straighten out. The steel top is welded on. It begs for a vise to be mounted to it!

I am planning on using this box for hardware, sandpaper, bits and pieces, etc. The idea is to use it to support my shop equipment, for example drill bits for the drill press.

 damn I'd like to find one of those for myself. The larger Beach boxes seem to be a hard find.

I bought this Homa from Farm and Fleet last week. They were selling a 36" Dewalt combo for 349.00 but ran out. I pestered the sales guy a bit and he told me they were substituting the 42" Homak combo for 349.00 (it was on sale in the same flyer ad for 599.00) if you wanted the Dewalt due to supply issues.

Only catch was I had to drive about 40 miles west to DeKalb to pick it up. I had to take my subwoofer box out before I left, and as usual it wasn't a question of will it fit, but rather, are you willing to make it work. Love the SuperUte for what it is.

For my purpose (not professional use, budget oriented) it was a very good buy. The drawer lock mechanism is the weak point along with the ABS PLASTIC ROLL HANDLES! Wtf were they thinking...thankfully I've got some old giant offset wrenches to make handles from.

Still for 349.00 I will deal with it.

Hawaii is definitely not the place to retire for a lot of people. It is super expensive and real estate is on the rise. It's a really awesome place to live for a while but the reality is that there are a ton of beautiful places on the mainland where retiring is a ton easier.

Upgraded my small Snap on top box to a new Homak. I have the truck maxed out, cab and all the other boxes in the truck.
