Finally took some drawer shots of my box and cart. I'm a 25 year old tech working at a subaru dealership. Been wrenching for a living for 6 years now right out of high school.

Yeah my last box had more drawers so everything was kinda set with like items but with less drawer count but bigger drawers things kinda get thrown together. That tool is for band clamps for cv axle boots.

Nice drawer pics. I had the same issue when I moved from my hf44. More space but less drawers. I think it's worth the space tho! Awesome box and setup alex.

I work at an Independent shop in Ellensburg, but we buy a lot of parts through that dealership.....hence the coffee cup. Haha. Do you live around the area?

I ran a power strip into the box and mounted it in the lower left corner, and yeah, here is the link to the product. Love em so far. Simple set up. Came with 3m tape, so it comes with everything you need. And here is a different pic, you can see the power strip better.

I like it a lot here, longest time I've spent in one shop and don't see myself going anywhere else anytime soon. Warranty labor time is kind of all over the place, some things pay decent others you scratch your head and wonder how they come up with that times. I stay pretty busy, averaged 240 hours a month last year. One thing I do notice compared to working at nissan the previous 2 years is there seems to be a lot less warranty work and whiny customers, not nearly as many squeak and rattle concerns and they like their maintenance, which is always good.

So I moved stuff around to clean out a drawer in the side box, and came up with this. everything is accessible and easy to keep an eye on charging batteries

Awesome news! I received a new Craftsman toolbox for Christmas! Lucky me! Sadly it won't see any real work for a while. [emoji17] Being an ASEP student I don't have my own stall and don't have anywhere to put a full size box! And I'm definitely not lugging it 300 miles every 8 weeks! So until I graduate it will serve its purpose as a "home box" that's in my bedroom! Hahaha I will move some extras into it but it will mainly be extra storage for whatever. I will work and go to school out of my cart! I'm very thankful and seems like it will be a great starter box when I graduate!

I like the box. I haven't seen many with that many deep drawers - which are nice for storing cordless and power tools. Shallow drawers are great for maximizing space for hand tools, but it's more of a struggle to find places for bulkier things.

I do not see it marked as ball bearing slides. Is that friction or ball bearing on that box. I was thinking sears offered both at one time.

Thanks MrBreeze! And yeah I will probably keep sockets and stuff up top! And wrenches in the first drawers! But yeah I like the deep drawers. It is also rearrangeable, you can move the slides around to get different configurations and I'm sure you could buy more shallow drawers and basically build it how you want! Pretty neat! And thank you Red89gt! And dodge610 yes sir it is ball bearing. Thank goodness it doesn't have the grip latch drawers! I hate those! I like the standard detent drawers! But yes they are ball bearing.

I got the 1/4 chuck and use the **** out of it, I'd rather get a Milwaukee or Mikita rather than a snap on if I can

I guess the Rock and roll truck driver couldn't get his stuff together and delayed the order forever. Plus it didn't pass qc originally and once it did pass they forgot to ship the top with it.

that *****...the side cab i ordered off the RnR truck this year showed up about 6 weeks later...and the box i bought off it a year earlier showed up in a week...since it was already in my dealer's storage

It has 6 larger holes for pry bars. The other slots are for screwdrivers or smaller tools. It comes with a fairly basic lock.
