Ratchets, extensions, etc.

SAE Wrenches

Screwdrivers

Metric wrenches

Messy plier drawer

Torx and Hex drivers, Hex keys, etc.

Hammers punches

Pry bars, pullers, files

Impact, grinders, etc.

Tap and dies, slide hammer, seal drivers, etc.

Bottom drawer is more puller sets, power probe, etc.

haha, thanks! Yeah, there is plenty of variety in it. You never know who is going to break what. I've taken rotary mower blades bent 90 degrees off machines because a guy hit a curb with it. I've had guys drive machines into ponds while mowing too close to the edge, crashing carts, all sorts of ****. On top of that you have to make sure all of the reel mowers are sharp and adjusted to the correct height almost daily. It's fun most of the time but it can get stressful when a bunch of stuff goes down at once. Sometimes I get to make stuff like small trailers for the utility carts to tow and fab stuff like that. Also, the cost of golf course equipment and their parts would blow your mind.

Funny you should say that I mentioned earlier that I was really starting to like the gun metal color the more i see it. My box is purple that is the color i went with.

Haha, that's my make-shift stubby Crescent adjustable. I needed it last winter when working on the front end of one of our Toro Workman utility vehicles so I grabbed a cheap adjustable at Tractor Supply and cut it. It worked well in that instance, and I've found it comes in handy every now and again for random stuff.

Really like the screwdrivers, been using them for several months now. The tips grip really well, they feel very good in the hand, and the hex drive is handy as well. As for the torque wrenches, I just picked them up today, first impressions are very good, bought both because they are on sale from $500 and $450 down to $340 and $270, so I just went ahead and bit the bullet. Really nice features, both wrenches have flex heads, do angle, inch pounds, foot pounds, newton meters, seem just as high of quality as the snap on tech angle my boss has. One nice thing is if I ever need one calibrated I can just run it down and don't have to wait until the truck shows up.

Is that a John Deere aerator you have in the one pic? We had a couple of JD Aercores we got used really cheap. What a PITA they were. The amount of wiring and relays in those things blows me away! Relays on top of relays!

On the left is all Felo 550 series I believe, love em! and a few Felo insulated ones. On the right are my Mayhew dominator picks, prys and a few extra long drivers from Klein and Wera. I mostly use my Wera ratcheting bit driver and a Bahco stubby ratcheting bit driver. All my driver needs are pretty much covered with the above.

Nah Toro aerator, pain in the *** to adjust. Yeah that electric hoist they have is pretty nice since I can lift reels up off the floor, put them on my work table and then throw them on our our sharpener which is right across my bench. so I basically don't have to physically pick up reels on a day to day.

we have a good mix match of stuff, mostly junk. After working on John deere stuff though I can tell you I'll never own any. We have two diesel Ransoms (ruff/fairway) that are Dinosaurs, Ford tractor from the 60's, case dozer, towmotor forklift I'm currently resurrecting, JD Diesel T mowers and a turbo diesel JD 3245c set up for Ruff. One Toro back up greens which I wish they'd buy a couple more to replace the JD 2500's my super keeps buying for $2k a pop off craigslist and I get stuck rebuilding. That engine going into that 2500 was the 3rd one in that machine in 1.5 years!!

All in all I have 18 machines including gators/mules to maintain. They have a retired old timer who comes in part time and does the golf carts from a separate small shop.

One of these days I'll take some good shots and do a write up on the shop and equipment. It's kinda neat since the course used to be a private air strip and the shop was a hanger. Course opened in 1961.
