That is a stationary model designed to be a modular to a total workstation system. Manyly for dealerships or shops that want a uniform look to their shop.

Im not a pro, so please dont make fun of my dinky franken boxes. But for what it is, I think Im equipped well for a DIY-er

So my setup generally looks like this:

IMAG0934.jpg

As you can see, I got a TASKFORCE brand tool box with a Craftsman Professional (the nice 16 inch deep one, not the chintzy one) 2 drawer mid chest sandwiched between them. Next to the tool box, I have a modified HF cart with the chintzy 2 drawer Craftsman middle chest.

My socket drawer:

Ratchet drawer:

Storage for various tools - thread restorer kits, compression test kits, torque wrenches etc:

On to the cart:

Ive rigged the top up to hold HF socket trays:

First drawer is ADDITIONAL sockets and specialty sockets:

Second drawer is diagnostic and more specialty tools:

Third drawer is my pullers, disconnects, and various brake and suspension specialty tools:

That box is nice. I noticed that its a Green box for Green Township.
Ha indeed my work is at green township. Boss thought it was funny

That is a very nice layout isn't it. Love it ianguilly.

Believe it or not but when I first saw this I was really unsure if I could make it work, took a a bit of research but finally pulled the trigger.

I've been reading this thread for what seems like forever. Decided to finally post my Matco 4s. It's soon to be replaced by a 6s.

It's a hutch and a separate drawer section. Not sure what matco calls it but it's great having two drawers that size

Love it OCD. Is the box a krl1023? Have you used the SO Robertson drivers, if so how are they.

Thank you!! It's a two year old KRL1033, I bought it used...

The SO Robertson drivers are awesome, I like them better than my Wera handles... They are nicely balanced and the tips have a good grip...

One thing that would be an improvement is the lengths of them could be more staggered up from one to four...

Needed somewhere to store my large micrometers, so I made this today. Going to add a front to it. Probably hinged to swing off to the side.

Here are my boxes. Last month I sold my KRL 663 72" and replaced it with this Dewalt box. The other is my KRL 1056 and 731 PCM. I bought bothers ago in Germany back before the Euro and Snap On was just staring there. I paid $500 for the 1056 and $600 for the top. I bought them brand new from the Germany Snap on dealer. It was a hell of a deal!

Jesus if I could buy a brand new krl1056 for $500 right now I would buy two of em. That is an absolute ridiculous price.

That dewalt box is lookin good. How do you like it sofar? I think I like the Milwaukee box better.

It's ok. I liked my KRL 663 better but the 72in was way to long for my home garage. Plus it was rusting real bad from being in a barn for 15 years. The only complaint with the Dewalt box is the drawers could have been deeper. I use this box mainly for my home repair tools and I have a little problem with the depth and I think the Milwaukee has a better setup. I also removed the stops on the two bottom drawers to get them to open all the way. i could't get anything in there. I am starting to look for a replacement for the Snap on box. It is full of all the good brand auto stuff and I have little to no room for any more.

I've been lurking in the background for a while and figured it's finally time to say hello.

So I started with this...

I have that old cantilever Craftsman box in the last pic. Gonna say I got it around 1979. Most of the rivets on the trays fell out.

It was my grandpa's. It's full of refrigeration tools. I found some invoices in there from the 60's. I don't know how old it is but it's in great shape.

Sure it does! What is the top made of/from, and what's the vise?

The top is 1 1/2" maple over 3/4" ply, wrapped in oak. The vice I'm not sure of the brand. Gift from my inlaws about 20 years ago. No markings on it, but it has help up to a good bit of abuse.
