Moved out of the old box and into my new(er) box. While I was at it I repurposed some wire shelving to better organize my plier drawer.

223 that's a nice looking box.

Lol. No not rich, I just manage my money well and I use the **** out of my tools but I also realize the investment I have in them so they do get cleaned after each use.

What magical solvent do you use to keep them looking so good? Specifically the snap on soft grip handles. Thanks! :dunno:

I use these two products from Chemical Guys. The green All Clean is for easy/normal cleaning and the Orange Degreaser is for heavy cleaning. I can make the greasiest tools look almost like new again with this stuff! I haven't found a better cleaner yet.

Hey everyone, its been a long time since I posted anything here, but I figured this would be as good of time as any. Just got my home box, a KRA6200 road chest set up in my new garage. Its definitely not your typical garage tool box, but I fell in love with it a few years back in my service truck. Right after I bought it, a 'too good to be true' job offer came my way, I was out of the truck and this toolbox never so much as left the top of my KRL1033 before getting put into storage. I don't know why I couldn't bring myself to sell it, like I said, I just loved everything about it. Fast forward a few years and now that my wife and I have a house, I've finally taken the time to set it up. I built a small 'cart' to solve the problem of needing a forklift to move the damn thing. Its mostly Craftsman Ive had since high school, some SK stuff I bought when I first started working (and has since been replaced at work), and some Snap-on BOGO deals or sale items that Ive been saving just for this moment.

I love this box. That "roll cage" is awesome!

Progress on my KR-537 and 557 refinish. Cleaned up the emblems and thought about what to do with the areas the panels used to go. Decided to paint the old panels black. That will happen this weekend.380092f34f387622c896202112ec19f4.jpg

I just brought this cart home from work, it sits empty at the moment. Tomorrow I will start putting my tools in it and get rid of the old waterloo that has been holding them.

I agree. I clean my tools after each use also. I remember I asked what people use to clean them on here, and people jumped on me saying "they're tools, not jewelry" and stuff like that. I don't make money with my tools and spent a lot on them because I like quality stuff. Keeping them clean makes them easier to use and will make them last longer.

I love looking at all the tool boxes, I am always looking for ideals to steal and put into my own box. Thanks guys.

+1 I've gone through this thread completely twice, as well as reading the new posts each day as they come out. If I gave individual compliments every time I liked something, I'd have double the posts I do now!

New center section for my box, still need to put the side locker back on which has been at home since i changed jobs.

Got it at a decent price too, as had a couple of small scratches on one of the drawers, which has touched up pretty well.

As an aside glad to see that Snap-On have gone back to fitting aluminum drawer trim, one thing that has really bugged me about my box since i got it (around 2009) as my old one had proper alloy trim plus i keep breaking the cheap plastic trims will have to replace the ones on top box and rollcab now though..

Adding the center section has presented one minor issue however, being 5'4" my box is now somewhat taller than me..

Great set up, makes my box look untidy and badly organized :lol_hitti

My KRL7022 home box. I had a few people ask to see what was inside so I added a few shots.

Thanks! My wife thinks I'm nuts! The plier racks are from Ernst Manufacturing. They are nice because they have a rubber "bump" insert that helps the plier fit and stay into position. The wrench racks are also Ernst. All made 100% in the USA!

+1 on Chemical Guys. Their NoNsense Cleaner is great too. I buy it buy the gallon, cut it and use it on everything. Lifts dirts, no residue. Can even use it on glass.

That is a great bottle hanging setup. I have a couple dozen CG bottles I need to organize. Any other picks?

Yes Sir! That's great stuff. I use it mostly on my Brembos on the Porsche. Almost looks to desolve the brake dust right off! Chemical guys knows their stuff!!

Hi, just joined forums. Wanted to share my toolbox I've had for a couple years. Toolbox is a KRA 2422 with a custom 3/4" thick ash/mahogany top. I've enjoyed reading this forum for ideas and tips and tricks for saving space.

That's a mighty fine looking P210 too.

Just bought a wire style rack, I'm starting to regret not getting these. Went with the wire one due to the cheaper cost, but those Ernst ones do look really nice and clean.
