Here is how my current setup looks, getting a Krl722 next week so need to play about when it arrives setting up the drawers. As you can see there's a few drawers a bit busy just now and also I have sockets spread over a few drawers. Can anyone spot the deliberate mistake?

Couldnt be snap on wooden top on upside down naaa that wouldnt be it.

Yeah spot on. I took some stick for it when I started a new job last October but it was to keep the correct top in as new condition if I ever sell
How much would you be willing to sell that orange hard handle set for? :lol_hitti

Do you happen to have the part numbers for the breaker bar and 1/2 drive ratchet? Been looking for those two for quite some time now.

Haha, had these ratchets for well over 10 years now, prefer them over the new soft grip style. I'll get part no's for you tomorrow

I tried the soft grips, which is why I kept the 1/4 and 3/8 orange hard handles, just makes me wish I would have bought the breaker and 1/2 when they were still available. Been debating buying some of the Dual 80's on ebay with the new orange handles on them.

Here's the parts numbers as promised, 1/2 ratchet SH936O
3/8 breaker FH12LA

Here is my box at home, a Craftsman one that was a display model I picked up about 8-10 years ago for like 40 or $50. Used it for a while as a road box when I did mobile work, it has served me well. lots more tools in totes and boxes until I move or happen to find the deal of the century on a new lower.

You are certainly making the most out of that space!

Curious...since you have mixed wrenches...if you pick up a Cman vs a Dewalt vs a Snap On vs a GW...do you notice a significant difference or have a preference?

I do prefer the Snap On wrenches. I haven't had any jaw spread/flex and the steel doesn't ding or dent like can happen with the Cmans or offshore stuff. Recently picked up a complete set of GW's (China) and the fit and finish was bad, the Taiwan stuff is good in my book. The Dewalts are good but the sharp edges can be a pain if you use them for long periods with no gloves, got rid of my MAC knuckle savers for that reason. I took measurements of a bunch of different 15mm wrenches I'll have to post up sometime.

I'd like to give credit to Snap On customer service. I needed a set of slides for the bottom drawer on my older KR670. Called Thursday at 11 am and had my new slides on my doorstep Friday at 2 pm. Unreal. Installed and the ratchet drawer is back in business!

Thanks, that's what I figured. I'm really pining for a set of Snap On wrenches, I just can't justify the cost right now.

This is my metric drawer and also a mix...GW, Cman, Cman Pro/SK, Mac, misc.

One day I'll pick up some FD+ when the price is right.

Yeah unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I work on just about everything lately. I get jobs ranging from a head gasket on a Linde forklift one day to a carb. rebuild on a Chevelle the next. My poor old '64 Darts trunk is loaded to max right now with all the other tools and equipment.

Not long ago I found a set of SO FD+ (SOEXM707) on ebay for like $90 and they where barely used. I just let go of another set of standard FD's to pay off some med bills.

The guy I apprenticed under had SK sockets and wrenches, really good quality. Too bad Cman stopped using them to make their Pro Wrenches or I would have bought those at the time.

Going to look at this for $200 Matco single bay, he said the only scratches are below the handle where someone must have hung pry bars, no dents. Pics are bad, I don't know why people don't clean stuff up when they sell it.

Alright so my box and locker showed up this afternoon about 4. Locker has the wrong color wheels and the wrong emblem, which is fine because my dealer still has to bring me my powerstrip and locker light.

Not yet. I kinda like using my top to work on, but they will probably change. I plan on getting a tear down bench. Or building my own deadblow table

how would you compare the fuel 3/8 gun to the snapon 3/8 gun. my partner has the snapon, thinking about getting the fuel for myself but dont want to be dissapointed

I have the Milwaukee Fuel 3/8" impact, great gun. I'm done with Snap On cordless tools, twice the price od Milwaukee, half the warranty, plus takes weeks to get anything warrantied. Milwaukee repair center is 10 minutes away from work and has great service.
