JDN, two questions for you.

How do you like your ir 1/2" stubby? Just found out about those recently. If it's got the jamb, I could see that little guy being really nice for brake and suspension work!

Along that same line, how do you like your ir air hammer? Any comparison to the snap on 3050? (I believe that's the number for the big so one).

And nice collection by the way!

Tons of awesome stuff in there ckblum. I'm super jealous of that yellow torque wrench. Haven't seen one before. Any chance you have the part #?

I remembered and just snapped a pic on coffee break. Here's the PN!

I need another chest and upper combo in the shop (can't close the doors half the time).

I like the stubby for certain situations, its not nearly as powerful and the 2135, as far as the hammer I like it and use the hell out of it with good results but I have no experience with the snappy.

Nice setup SuzukiGS750EZ. I really need to pick up another charger for my M18 stuff so I can keep one in my cart.

I think I have two. One stays in the box under my toolbox with my m18 fuel Sawzall to travel with and the other on the side of my toolbox. I used to have them in the bottom drawer but I made a side plate to make room in the drawer. And thank you :)

Love the krsc with the sliding top. If I had it to do over I'd have one of those & a cheaper stationary box instead of the other way around.

Haven't posted in this thread in a while....checking back there are some more awesome setups on here.

Nothing major. Grabbed a couple more 1/4" Hansen trays the other day and reorganized the socket drawer. I'm considering some of the lock-a-socket style trays for the 3/8 swivels/etc.

I been looking for the last several years for a Snap On KR-562. My buddy who is a Snap On dealer finnaly found me one in pretty good shape. I had one back in the late 70's or early 80's cant figure out why I wanted another one except they are really bitchen!

The drawer sliders & castors are shot, & its missing the masonite top, & one drawer is bent. He ordered me all the stuff, & found the castors & sliders are under lifetime warrenty! I bought the top & new drawer.

The bad part is its covered with old ugly stickers. Anybody know how to get them off without damaging the paint? Im afraid that the eraser on the crud-thug
or heat gun might cause paint damage. Please let me know if you have any ideas.a Im having issues with the photos, hope they came out ok.

For the stickers, the heat gun or get it out in the sun on a hot day. then work them off slow. Any residual glue use lighter fluid/white gas/Coleman fuel/Naptha

Use a hair dryer to heat up glue on the sticker and then use WD-40 to remove the residual glue left on the paint.

Then use a good cleaner wax to remove oxidation and scratches on the paint and follow up with a good wax.

if you use wd40 and spray the stickers then use a plastic tool to scrap them off it works well. we do it all the time for tractor decals

Heat gun and alot of patience. Once those old stickers are warmed up they should peel right off though.

Where does one find this type of shelving material. I checked Lowes & Home dep and all they seem to have is stuff with closer slots and more cross supports.

I think you might be overlooking it at least at your local HD. Mine has a whole aisle dedicated to shelving and has many options in sizes for these style of racks

Just picked this combo up for $650, told the boss that I'm downsizing...:bounce:

Actually, I'm tired of looking for tools in the garage, and just couldn't bring myself to spring for a Harbor Freight box.

that's all for now

Nicely organized. What are the rails they're mounted on? Also, what do your wrench sets range from? Wanting to build or buy a set that covers a broad spectrum of sizes, maybe 6mm-22mm and 1/4"-1"? I've been trying to build up my tool collection to justify buying a box and putting it in my moms garage (where I do all my mechanic work) to hold my tool stock as it grows.
