Nicely organized. What are the rails they're mounted on? Also, what do your wrench sets range from? Wanting to build or buy a set that covers a broad spectrum of sizes, maybe 6mm-22mm and 1/4"-1"? I've been trying to build up my tool collection to justify buying a box and putting it in my moms garage (where I do all my mechanic work) to hold my tool stock as it grows.
metric 8mm to 32mm standard 1/4 to 1" angle 3/8" to 1 1/2"

Made room for my 1/2 12pt sockets

And reorganized the ratchet drawer to add the speeder wrench.

Here is an old Craftsman wall mounted box I picked up the other day. I had it shipped from Cleveland, OH. I spent a little less to have it shipped than I paid for it. It's the woodworking/carpenters box. This is the one I wanted but I'd still like to get a mechanics box to go with it. Now to fill it with period tools!

Just picked this combo up for $650, told the boss that I'm downsizing...:bounce:

Actually, I'm tired of looking for tools in the garage, and just couldn't bring myself to spring for a Harbor Freight box.[emoji106]
Nice box, I have a twin I keep at work.b7cae46d8e1f91616d1955c818486d09.jpg

I did know it wouldnt fit but just finding time to reemove all my heavy parts from the shelf , cut off 12" of length off each cross bar x6. Weld them back up and then trim the wire shelves . It will be nice to finally fit all my big tools in one place now. Cant belive this box weighs over 4,000 lbs empty now and is 18 ft wide . Not sure if ill get the top cabinets . I do think they would be nice for light clutter storage as ive got a ton already . Very excited i now own the tool box ive always dreamed of.

Thank you I appreciate that alot . I consider it my trophy piece that serves function as well. I've worked hard for it and though there are far better mechanics out there than I. I need the room for a vast selections of tools. I consider myself a jack of all trades but only pro at a few. Gm trucks being one of them. Though I have also worked in the heavy equipment/boom trucks field for a decade. I also do a fair amount of residential ac electrical and hvac work.

My tool box and my cars represent me , I like them to look as well as they perform. Who doesn't appreciate a good sleeper though.

This is my forever box , I figured live once and then die. When that time comes , use the hutch or side locker to bury me in.

24 year old "hobby mechanic" I guess is what I call myself. The old Snapon box was given to me with a bunch of old broken junk and a few tools in it. I'm slowly organizing the boxes to work together. Space is starting to be a premium with the boxes only being 19 inches deep. I think I'm wanting to upgrade to a midnight blue master series box in a year or two. Poison spider... That's a bike shop out in Moab Utah right? I rented a mountain bike from them once, one of the best places I've ever been in my life.

Your setup looks great! I thought my 72" + locker KRL was huge as I still have room to grow but yours is on the whole different level. Do you mind me asking what you store in the boxes and lockers or are you adding storage to avoid obsolescence of the cabinets? Either way, very impressive!

I really really like your tool box, I'm so glad I'm out of room in my garage and can not fit a bigger one in there, I do feel sorry for my wife when I die, I told her she will have lots of help and new friends.

Also posted in the vintage section when I got the box - hope that's OK?

Snap-on KRA-58B from 1966, found on Craigs' List. Even came with the owners manual. Original paint, slides good shape and the guy said it had been in storage for many years. Did a simple cleanup and hit it with some car wax. Very heavy, seems to hold a lot of tools.
