Top Drawer Tuesdays. This is my home toolbox, I don't turn wrenches for a living, just tinker around in the garage.

I didn't get the memo about top drawers being the socket drawer, because I put screwdrivers and nut drivers in my top drawer.

Identifix on the computer. Best tool in the whole box

Haha, couldn't be more right. Love that site. Best tool is your brain, and Going through some of the posts on Identifix is like going through another Techs brain. Lots of info.

Hey Jake, who's the maker of the deep universal impacts in the red tray?

Thanks!

Got these ones at Napa, don't remember what I paid but it was reasonable, I've beat the **** out of a few of them and none broken yet. Very happy with them. More useful then I thought they would be for sure.

Made by Sunex for NAPA. I have a "NPT" 1/2" Torx inpact set that shares a case and partial part number with its Sunex twin. I'm almost positive all the NPT impact sets are Sunex so obviously outstanding quality and value!

Makes sense. I really like all of mine. They probably make the Carlyle sockets then too....

So, how great is the bad mother dewalt 1/2 inch impact? Is it worth it? Looks like yours gets used. I use my 3/8 a ton, but sometimes it just doesn't have the power.

It out does all the snap on and matco ones of my coworkers, even Their air guns (we have really crappiy air at work tho). I've had mine for a year and half or so and it's still going strong. I've dropped it off of the top of sprayers and a combine once and it never quits. Definitely one of my best investments in my box.

I've got the same sockets, in ultra pro (Napa Canada). Great sockets. I found the joint flares a little bit the first hard use, but once that is filed down they work well and do not bind.

Good to see the tool vault top drawer can handle some serious weight! Awesome socket selection by the way :)
