I would just like to thank my sponsor broken fords for for everything they did for me:lol_hitti

James

I have a 60% sponsorship from them too! Seems like there is always a broken Ford truck in my shop:rolleyes:

ok back to toolboxes. I'd like to see some more pictures & reviews of Xtreme's if anyone has them. Maybe in comparison to the the Tool Vault.

I'm thinking about a new box and it's kind of hard look at tool boxes that are mail order.

I got the box first and then scored the locker after. I love this box. I'm looking for another locker for the other side.

Pretty sure most of these boxes cost more than my house!

On the way to VIR in Va you have to go in to NC and there are houses that you could not fit my KRL's in.

But I think antique wood has a good market value.

There is a good possibility you might be the first to post this combo on here and it looks really good. I at least haven't seen anyone else do this. Very cool how the upright trim and drawer widths all match up and you still have a usable space on the end of the 72". [emoji106]

My dad has this combo as well, i will get some pics if you want. The boxes are so loaded that the weight of the 56 top is actually causing a bad bow in the 72 bottom. My guess is the top doesnt span the box so the weight is resting on a non supported area.

Thanks, I work on offshore powerboats. I have a thread on here about it "My Cave"

Here is a more current pic of my box

Sick set up Brian!.

Hey where did you get those engine carts or did you make them. I'm always wheeling around LB blower builds on my hydraulic table and the damn things aren't lite. Those big wheels would really make a huge difference. Did you build them and if so where did you source the wheels.

Thanks, Cam.

This is the setup I am looking to do as well. since the top box does not go end to end have you noticed any issues with the top of the bottom box bowing in ?

I have not had any bowing and I was concerned about it before I put it on. If your that concerned you can put the top box to the left as there is a full height support there.
So far I love the 72, I dont use it professionally but I am about as close to it as you can get with diy/hobby use. I am out there at least a few hours every day.

If anyone wants it I can do a video/drawer pics of it

It would be in a professional setting for me, I have the black tool cart and it's loaded with tools and I haven't had a problem with it

Yes, there will be bowing, the bottom box will bow. Ill post pictures of my dads setup later.

Thanks for the info. is the bowing just the top of the 72 or is the bottom frame bowing ? my plan is to add a 3rd pair of casters to the middle of the bottom box and put a piece of 3/4 inch plywood on the top of the 73 that goes end to end prior to adding the 56 top.

Hey guys, I shot a quick updated video of the inside of my box. I just picked up the Kobalt screwdriver set because it was green, didn't need it but had to have it. Sorry there is no talking or explaining, I have this red light syndrome with talking and I go full retard and forget what Im doing haha.

I bought that screwdriver set the other day. I also didn't need it but like having a matching set and the foam holder. Seems pretty decent for $30.

Thanks, Cam.

A friend of mine owns a meat business and the inspector came in and told him all his carts had to have sealed bearings so I got all his old carts. They move easy even with 2 fully dress big blocks on the same cart.

Sense we keep going on about tool polishers, I put my screw drivers in our Cuda parts washer today they went in with dirt and oil stuck in cuts and nicks on the handles that I couldn't get out with brake clean. Now they look like they've never seen grease and oil. 1c5212bde72a95d17a45e7680c3de1fc.jpg

Just got a new box, does everyone do sockets in the top drawer and wrenches in the second long drawer? It's a 72 inch roll cab
