I know its just my OCD but those drawer layouts bother me because they are not mirrored between sides like the newer BIG's are. Nevertheless, awesome boxes.
Here it is a 68" Epiq!

Yeah if you bought the 84" Epiq with the power bank the wide drawers are the size of the drawers on a 68". If you buy a triple bank 84" with all drawers the wider drawers in the middle are the same as a 60" Epiq.
I know you know that Heavy Metal Doc.
Anyway, it looks like the pull out power bank is a thing of the past now anyway All Epiq models on SO's Ultimator now show the new power drawer option only.
Pic from SFC2017....Epiq on left...Masters on right. The masters narrow bank is much narrower so they do it in two drawers. Bottom non powered 12" deep drawer with power tool organizer and another drawer with power for chargers.

Only the best! Thanks Unruh and ZMotorsports. That is great!! I see you are livin' the High Life!
I have never seen a powerbank in person so I am not familiar with how power is run into them. Are the new power drawers able to be added to an existing box?
They are built in, not an add-on, though I guess you could remove a few drawers of the same width and put on in place. You might have to add omse other brackets behind the drawer, I'm not sure.
Power is run in through the back wall of the box shell and then has a guide assembly that allows the drawer to move in and out without damaging the cord.
Slowly getting this shop cleaned up. Just not sure how much longer I can deal with that faded redI just keep reminding myself I only paid 400 for it.

They have a organizer you can buy now. Not sure on the power part

I asked him the same question when he emailed me the pics. They are Ernst. Check out ernstmfg.com. They have them on Amazon in red, blue and black. I think Snap-on offers them in orange and green.Details on those red organizer trays?
That is a beautiful toolbox. And an impressive tool collection too!

thanks for the kind words. Been buying tools for 30 years and been bending wrenches for a living for 22 years.
Just check the classifieds and buy used. I have about 3k into my boxes.Guys I love looking at these boxes, full of beautiful snap on, matco, Mac, etc tools. It's awesome, brings a smile to my face. Unfortunately these boxes cause me to scrutinize every pic of every drawer to find what I'm missing out on and finally I've come to the conclusion that I'm not missing tools...I'm missing a big box, I'm missing the ability to perfectly organize my tools so that my box makes sense.
Right now I'm working out of 3-26" craftsman boxes, a 4 drawer plastic cabinet and a 3x6 shelving unit that holds tools in the blow molded cases.
Its killing me that I can't justify the cost of an 86" chest.

The only problem I have with the small single bank boxes is that many of the trays for like screw drivers, picks, etc don't fit reasonably well. I know a lot of guys say "just take them out of the trays". The problem with that is the organization factor. You might as well get a few big portable boxes and just throw everything into them.ive never been able to justify (to myself) the cost of a double/triple bank box.
i've worked out of multiple single bank boxes for many years....
i have multiple single bank boxes in the garage as well.
ive mentioned this before, but i prefer multiple smaller boxes. much easier to move, if needed, i can reconfigure placement as my needs change, or i add tools.

That's how I've always felt, and I've always forgone big fancy boxes so I could buy more tools but it's at the point now where I really need a big box. I have a HF top, bottom, side drawers, locker completely stuffed with a 40" 8 drawer chest and a tool cart full as well. I really wish I just had a nice triple bank though. It's funny because 95% of my tools are snap on or equivalent and they all reside in a HF boxTools and those that wield them are far more important than the box(es)
I'd be happy with a 52" HF box at this point. That's how I've always felt, and I've always forgone big fancy boxes so I could buy more tools but it's at the point now where I really need a big box. Pics are needed BP! Because
Also, there is a Vintage tool boxes thread as well.
Do you not see the pictures? I see two pictures?
