Picked these up off CL. Threw on a stainless top I had and started mock up of overflow and to get better organization. Once figured out will throw some proper drawer liners in it.

They're an electrician thing, Klein makes them they are sort of like a speeder handle, they're meant for doing devices and plates. The few times I do trim out these days I use my M12 impact mostly.

The rest of the Klein and Ideal stuff is mostly backup to my electrical tool bag or ones I don't need to carry very often.

I can't take the credit, I saw it posted by someone else on Facebook. Told my dealer to order a bunch and he'd sell out. He was skeptical but he ordered some anyway....and sold out of them :bounce:

Yeah all my T handles are Bondhus in addition to those 5 sets I have quite a few lose in bags and the truck . Love them, the last plant maintenance shop I ran all the equipment was socket head cap screws and button heads. I'd use them daily. I've got half a dozen sets of Bondhus L keys too.

Thanks. I have been thinking about getting some Bondhus sets. They look like quality, but know one sells them locally so I will have to order them online.

I'm thinking of swapping to those from the Hansen trays, hoping to fit more sockets per drawer. Do you have the units secured down anyway? Is it a hassle to remove one of the "rails" as they show in the images?

Not really secured in any way other than clipped to the trays. Removal is no big deal, theres a little latch you press down and the rail slides ever so slightly and you can lift it out.

The main advantage of the Hansen type is they're supposed to tell you the size of the socket before you grab it; saving you time from grabbing the wrong socket or picking up several sockets until you find the one you want.

That's exactly why I like the Hansen trays, but I'm just trying to wedge a few more sockets into my main box and I was hoping the Ernst may allow that.

pl_silverado, am I seeing this correctly? Most of your 1/4 & 3/8 are on the 13" rails and the 1/2 & all impacts on the 18", mix of 2 and 3 rail trays.
I'm just trying to put together a plan prior to ordering and your set-up kicks ***.
Any additional info is most appreciated.

i personally don't like the ernst socket holders.

before you buy the expensive kit, buy the small rail and try to see if you like it or not.

I've thought about that as well but with the Hansen trays you can't really take those with you, either. The socket rails are different and portable without them falling off/out.

Started doing dimensions and I don't have the drawer height. One of the trade-offs I guess with an old Rousseau vs a true toolbox.
