nice set up
Where did you get those fishing pole racks for the ceiling?
I machined a nice base all squared up for the vice.

I may have missed your reason why, but what was the purpose of the aluminum base?
Just picked up this beauty today! Kennedy Model 326 bottom cab and 52611 top box with locks and keys. Don't really need the top, but for $200 for both, I think I did alright. All drawers open and work, and overall it's in great shape.
NICE!!! I can only dream of having that set-up...lol

Fair enough. I was just curious if you chose thick aluminum for a specific reason, or if it was just what you had laying around. I always use 12ga steel when mounting vises on wood benches, and just never really considered anything else, I guess. Thanks for replying.just to make something. I like tinkering
excuse the mess
Would you like to sell yellow torx screwdrivers? they look out of place with the green ones.

Good price......that’s in “U ****” territoryMy Matco home workstation. I paid $4500 for it a couple years back.
cross post from the garage sale thread....
I picked up a snap-on kra59c tool chest last night off craigslist. I paid the going market rate around here for this sort of chest in this condition, so it wasn't a screaming deal or anything, but i'm satisfied with it.
I've been looking for this specific model for a while now, as it's the matching top box to the kra380d roller cabinet i've owned for 30 years; in fact, it was built the same year so they're basically a perfect pair.it has some scrapes and scratches so i may think about painting it this winter (my roller cabinet is more or less pristine) but i'll get it cleaned up first before i make that decision.

Where do you find model numbers?
Did I spy a Tamiya Blackfoot in there?excuse the mess
New to me Epiq box and cart.
Very nice! Is it insured if it were to be blown away? It's might be "lost in a storm, expected to be in the Pacific ocean. How much were they?
the sad part about this deal is it came about 2 weeks after I purchases a KRL1032 in cranberry for 5K off the truck new. I tried trading in my 1022/hutch/end cab/locker in on an 84 epic and my dealer couldn't make the numbers work. trading all my stuff in and paying 10K and not getting a locker was too rich for my blood. I went to my dealers storage unit to look at a green double bank repo for 4K... it had black trim and would have cost me about 1200 bucks to change over to brushed trim to match mine... made me a year end special on the cranberry 1032. the 1032 is like your 1033 with the full length top drawers, but the left side skinny drawers and center drawers are merged together for a 50" wide bank of drawers.
I bought it out of price and function... not color choice. now, I wish one of my green 1022's was the 1032. just not willing to cough up the 12,500 it would take to get one in a different color
as you can see, its a three bank width, just appears to be a double bank due to the drawer configuration. my 500 dollar right side green locker and the three bank pushed the wall of boxes too far out blocking 18" of my back garage door. so now the cranberry is on another wall holding parts and supplies. an expensive vidmar cabinet basically.

It’s my home garage and covered under my home owners policy. I hope my house never blows away, but I always keep my policy current in case of emergency.
Retail for the cart is about $5.5k and the box is $14k. I bought both used from the original owners.
Cranberry
That said, it is an unusual drawer configuration.
Could you post more pics of the cranberry?
Are all the “taco carts” the same model number? If so, what is it? Thanks

The letter designations were based off of years made and different drawer, cabinet configurations. I believe they started using ball bearing slides on the C models

none of these ever came with ball bearing slides. my 1983 model is a C. The F had the sliding door on the side instead of full drawers on the side part. they also do not make a roller slide conversion for them....
