New to me box, trying to get it organized after a move. Can't find a lot of my tools amid the cardboard boxes.

Here's the recent new home for my tools. I just moved in (to this box), so not fully organized, and best of all, plenty of room for new additions: (Side locker door just looks funny due to flash...)

Not much in the top compartment...too high really; fender cover, worklight, stethascope, Power Probe, S-O airbrush:

Nut drivers, blowtorch, and electrical do-dads.

I see that Harbor Freight Ball joint press set Hiding in there:wtf:
Actually Thats how I do it also. Why spend several hundred dollars for the big name ball joint press kits. That kit gets damaged you spend another $20.00 on a new kit.

And my garage

100_0193.jpg

Probably should put that cart out of it's misery and get a roll around, but it's held up like that since '01. I just cut a piece of 3/4" plywood and set it on.

The Craftsman cabinet and intermediate chest were sale items this fall; the mini fridge (on top of the white cabinet) was $5. I bought it from the guys I used to work for. It used to sit on my black Macsimizer at work.

Perusing this thread really brought me back with all the 60s Craftsman tool boxes. A gas station that I worked in all through my teenage years had two of the 60s era Craftsman rollaway's pictured in this thread.

Also had never seen the stainless stuff before, cool. So I'll play...

I've gone through four tool box combination's in the last 30 yrs. All Snap-on, and maxed everyone of them out. Funny how you don't realize how many theme boxes were put out until you see 'em (20 yrs ago I had a Rick Mears set)

I bought this one three years ago. Sad part about it is that it's full too so I'm going to have to spring for the top section. Hopefully that should last me the rest of my life as having 20K in just tool boxes alone is a bit much..

This camera isn't that good, can't afford a better one after paying for all the rest of this stuff. The beer car was for size reference..

It worked the one time I used it, but took some significant damage. This tool is a POS. I would not recommend it. The press itself deformed and twisted under pressure, and the tube attachment crushed a bit.

I have an OTC press now that is a little stronger which I think is a much better low cost option. I also got one of those master attachment kits, can't remember whose. I also acquired a used MAC press in one of my collections, (these are pretty expensive, but this one's in only fair condition). I haven't decided whether it will go to eBay yet.

I've added a lot of tools since those pics.....almost time to repost. I still have a few sets of sockets and one set of wrenches on my wish list for now.....

Can't remember if I ever posted mine. It's a stainless Kobalt, hiding behind my Series 1 Jag XJ6. Not super high end, but suits my needs perfectly and has held up very well. I also have a Blue Point KRBC9T roll cart and a Craftsman two tray service cart.

Edit: Oh, forgot the little Kennedy two-drawer to the left of the Kobalt. Vintage 1/2" ratchets on the bottom and 1/4" and 3/8" up top.

I have the same Ball Joint press. Works very well for the price, and it has taken some SERIOUS abuse while rebuilding my front Dana 44...:shocking: Nothing broken or bent yet either.

Skyline - having finally gone through all the posts, I'd like to say that your "old" boxes (three if I'm counting right) are better than anything I've ever owned! Nice.

Here's my Mac box, had it for about 3 years now. It's fairly full, will try and get some more pictures with the drawers open soon. Most of it is Mac, few Snap-on, the Snap-on dealer round here has been ****, got through about 4 dealers in as many years.

I bought the SO unit in the 80's. The add ons are a combination of Craftsman and HF. The HF end cab isn't bad for the money.

Anyone know if there's a small chest that will fit on end cabs? The one I have is too small and wastes precious space.

All the airtools I use on a daily basis are in a cart. Also the hammers. Some are backups. When I get the top I can break some of this clutter up (I have enough torque wrenches to fill their own draw) That, and I'm going to revamp most all my airtools this spring.
