You have done a great job organizing that cart. I started with cart as well, then to a 26" HF box then a 44" box. Hindsight 20/20 I would have started with a bigger one too.

Been a long while since I have posted on GJ. Here is my TUV before switching jobs this February. Although now it sits in my home shop now that I am laid off.

i'm cheep- nothing fancy, but does what i needed it for, put this together back in 1989, its earned its keep...has had **** dropped on it, been hit by careless forklift drivers, etc...I used to roll it a LOT- its now on its 5th set of phenolic wheels, every corner is stress cracked, due for another repaint- but my retractible stereo still works- put a switch on the right key lock, radio pops up/turns on when unlocked, closes/turns off wnn key locked(used to lock shut but some idiot on third shift tried to pry it open to turn the radio on, busted the lock tab off)...lite all thread jackscrew on a grauppner model sailboat geared motor- cant believe it still works. has a garden tractor battery in it, radio will play a couple days... had a inverter in it, but burnt it out.

mostly its my workbench, never enough tables in the shop... redoing small spindles that were too heavy has taken a toll on it- box was made a 'lowrider' so it wouldnt tip over- our floors are not good for top boxes, seen many bite the dust...boxes are on 2" rubber pads, rolls quiet, but thing the cushion mighta actually added to the stress cracking issue. all up only had 600 bucks in it including the stereo...

yep... old Sony am/fm cassette- cassette died a decade ago, and the radio backlights burnt out eons ago...but it plays every day, all day :)

heres a really crappy phone video of the retractable radio, always good for a laugh...the end stereo box, and the little vise bench I just made of 14gage sheetmetal- stereo sounded like ****, so used silicone as 'glue' and adhered 1/4" masonite insideas a damper, sounds good still 30 years later... speakers mounted on thin metal sound horrible :)

My old, beat up Beach top chest was taking up too much space on the work bench in my garage. So I got myself a Mastercraft bottom box that was on sale at Canadian Tire, built a base from angle iron, and added some beefy casters. Should hold up a lot better now on my bumpy, cracked up garage floor.

Just a cheap Costco 72" stainless box, but full of good quality tools, and with a nice worktop.

Still trying to post pics

Nice box, Jeff! We rarely see Beach in USA.

Got one like yours except in worse condition - still waiting for cleanup and goo gone...(PO went nuts with stickers and even glued some with real glue)

Just added the SGS bottom box, I've now got some empty drawers now to fill.
I really wanted the Halfords bottom box, but they changed the design about a year ago and the new ones are nowhere near as good.

here's my setup at work... welding bench was built out of scrap with two 7/8" plates for the top. KRSC101 first gen epic cart (one with the green drawers) is setup just for electrical work. The fact black KEMW361 epic work station holds the day to day tools, and my 2003 harley anniversary box KRL751/756 combo with side locker and half locker that holds all the machining tools, specialty tools not used all that often, and supplies.

Thanks!! Shelbykex not as nice and not as organized as
Most boxes here but it gets the job done. It’s been on road trips,
To the track, I’ve done 2 frame off builds out of it, done engine swaps,
****** swaps, etc. Beach made a great box back in the day

Agree! Couple of members here posted bottom rollers with multiple drawers - look great and feel very functional!
My box had an interesting story: was given to a man by his father in 70s. The guy eventually moved to USA. One day he decided to clean the garage and posted it on Craigslist (like Kijji in Canada if I remember correctly). Nobody replied. I recognized it as I saw similar boxes on this forum and picked it up on the way from work around 5 minutes from my house. You never know what treasures your neighbours are storing in the basements!

I think that’s a cheap Waterloo box. I remember seeing those around
There’s a bar I think that drops in front and you can put a lock on it
