Sorry for the dumb question. If we know that these are re-branded Channellocks, why do people buy the tool truck version? Wouldn't the truck tool brand be 3x-5x the price of Channellocks? Yes, it's more convenient to exchange the broken tool when the truck comes by but for that kind of price delta, I could have 2 copies of the Channellocks and still be ahead.
Sorry for the question but I don't work at a shop. I'm just a home DIY'er.
You answered your own question. If you work in a shop you're going to break and/or wear out pliers. Warranty pays for itself over a career.
