Here's my $10 Union box.....the guy tried to clean it up with a grinding wheel.

My KR 537, was moving from shop to shop years ago and one of the straps that was holding boxes down let loose, this box fell and hit the floor of the truck pretty hard. Lower right hand corner took a hell of a shot. Not my main box and ugly but still does its job

My '63 kr300 is the closest thing I have to any ugly box. Perfectly functionable and the ugly is even that I see no reason to restore. I could post my '63 craftsman combo, but its "ugly" is from 50 years of Pa working everyday out of it, that's pure beauty.

That plomb box is awesome. Love the design.

Thanks. Thought about restoring it, but decided to just keep it rat rod looking. It's hard to tell from the pic, but I lined the bottom of it with cork. Also it was missing a small tray on the top front, so I made one out of sheet metal and painted flat black. It's a pretty cool box.

Your KRA300 is prettier than mine. Nice full drawer KR288 side box as well. :thumbup:
