When I bought my 5 and 6 welder I realized I might have a problem.

Mig Welders:
Lincoln power mig 255. I was going to buy a Hobart 190 and be done with buying mig Welders but this popped up with a bottle for $800 and now I have more welder than I will probably ever need.

Miller sidekick. My first mig welder, it is a decent heavy duty 110v welder but due to the size I am selling it.

Century 110v mig: surprisingly this is better for sheet metal than the Miller and it only cost $25.

Miller econotig. Went to look at a shotgun and ended up with both the shotgun and this. Haven't tried tig with it but it is a nice arc welder.

Miller Thunderbolt buzz box. My first welder, unfortunately it almost never gets used anymore.

Airco Super Hornet engine drive. Basically an orange Miller big 40. Unfortunately I never use it, so it is going up for sale whenever I get it out of my dad's shop.

Here is my little Hobart Handler 140 on a Harbor Freight welding cart.
It would have been nice to get the HH 210MVP or Miller 211 (or even a $3000 tig setup for that matter) but this is what my budget and electrical service could support at the time. I'm using it to weld patch panels on my 31 Model A and I"m pretty happy with it so far.

Here are my two main welders, a Dynasty 300DX and an XMT450MPa. The Dynasty is on a furniture dolly in the picture, I needed to get inside a tight space. The XMT has a D-74 MPa feeder and a Smith mixer set up for short arc and spray.

I've got a Hobart Ironman 210 I bought three years ago used. Machine runs like a champ. I don't have any pictures of it because whenever it's pulled out it's being used, lol. Looks just like this:

I also have cheapo Clarke 110Volt machine running flux core wire at home for quick little light jobs.

That is awesome. Are you going to use it, and if so, for what?

Somewhat, i'm a vintage caterpillar collector, its mostly for show. I believe its 1st of 6 built. here it is basically done with a video.

Holy smokes!
You call that a welder? This is a welder!
Nice Job BTW.

Haha yeah I think Wrenchguy pretty much deployed the "mic drop" on that one!! :lol_hitti

We have a massive Lincoln Torpedo Welder in the grain elevator on our family farm I'd love to fix up and have "just because." Its nothing like the diesel driven welder Wrenchguy restored but it would be a fun project. It runs on three phase power and I just don't have the room for it though. Our land is leased out now and the welder hasn't been used in years. It looks like this one - hopefully the OP doesn't mind but I borrowed this image from welding web.

New-to-me welder today... Lincoln IdealArc 250. This monstrosity came up for sale locally, so for $150 it became mine. No leads yet. I've never done stick welding, so I guess I've got some youtubing to do. :)

I've had this Campbell Hausfeld mig-flux for some time, and it was my dad's and I used it some before that. He bought it new, probably about 12-15 years ago? Hasn't seen a ton of usage, but it does good for light duty stuff. I added the cart. I do have a small gas bottle for it, but it's dwarfed and hidden by the cart.

I've got a lincoln like that - bought it new - then when the wire feed machine came home it got demoted to air-arc duty then a few years later I got a plasma cutter, and found out it can do 95 % of air-arc duty. poor thing sits unused !
good machine though

I always thought I would find a deal on a Dialarc or Idealarc but never did. When we went to wire it wasn't such an issue, I do have a 300 Synch but never used it on stick. The little AC/DC is still my go to in the shop or to reach outdoors. I have it hooked on to a loom, 2 stingers, common ground and extensions.
I did a remod, you can see the pile of connectors that I removed that worked their way in over the years.

Reviving an old thread. I was out working in the shop this morning and realized I hadn’t taken a picture of my welders with the new addition in our new shop.

From left to right, my Miller Dynasty 300DX Tigrunner, Miller MM251 MIG welder with .030” wire, newly added Millermatic 211 MIG welder with .023” wire and under my ESAB 875 plasma cutter is my portable Miller Passport MIG welder.
